I have 6 narrow windows (22x58) and one larger window (34x58). Total would be $2050. Seems really pricey?

Shutters are an investment for your home ,while most blinds on the market will only last 5 to 8 years, shutters typically last 30 plus years .Shutters are also considered an upgrade if you were to sell your home .

outside L frame - I presume if I have a window sill I need to use the outside l-frame

Hi , Frame choice mostly depends on window depth. Z frames wrap your window so you will need 2 1/2 " depth for louver clearence. On either frame, If you have a sill we put a special frame on the bottom called a sill plate . Once you place the order we will request a picture of the window to make sure everything will work . If there is no tilt bar, how do louvers tilt so that they are all at same angle?

The louvers are operated by hand.You tilt one and they all move. They are attached together by a small rod on the back of the panel. Its on the edge so it doesnt block your view. It also makes cleaning them so easy.

is there one available where you can tilt the top and bottom separately?

Yes we have split tilt , Upon checkout you will be asked if you want this feature. It can be split anywhere on the shutters allowing the top and bottom to tilt separately . The split tilt option is a nice and you don’t need to have a physical divider rail . If you do want a divider rail we have those as well .
