Very thick light but not flimsy gets to temperature fast cooks great easy to clean. Perfect for bir curry cooks 1 large portion or 2 medium portions. **Q: Is it necessary to season (seal) this pan before use?** A: I didn’t, it’s aluminium and I think oiling and sealing is more for heavy based metal pans. maybe not the right person to ask as I stick mine in the dishwasher too and they’ve survived…. **Q: is this dishwasher safe?is it suitable for electric stove?** A: Yes dishwasher safe.
