The locket arrived overnight and looks beautiful. I will caution swapping the chain out so it doesnt fully oxidize, but i love it. The magnet also seems strong enough that the locket wont fall open when jostled. To open the locket, the latch is in the back, so it wont fall open, since its resting against against something.

Potentially cursed but it's okay
Bought this item for my wife for her birthday she's a huge vampire diaries fan. Overall quality is great looks just like the amulet from the TV show however when she wears this thing it creaks a lot and shakes I'm pretty sure that it's cursed but that's okay. And if I accidentally bought my wife a curse amulet on Amazon it didn't say it was cursed in the item description.

So well made and simply gorgeous! The chain is so pretty, a perfect length, and doesn't pull hair. Enough room in the locket for a tiny note/picture/or item, or a bit of vervain. Locket magnet is very sturdy. Been wearing for months with no hint of tarnishing or breaking.

Good necklace overall for price-accurate but not perfect
I bought this as a gift. I looked through all the reviews prior to buying it and was worried about the magnet not working. I looked at it and the magnet seems to hold together well. The one problem is that the hinge in pretty loose. It feels like opening and closing it too much would break it. Also, I expected it to be more antique and heavier, even though I was only paying ten dollars. It’s actually pretty light and very shiny. The shiny metal makes it not as accurate because it doesn’t have that TVD antique look. It also seems like the kind of metal that goes black quick. Overall, if you want to only spend 10 dollars on Elena’s necklace, I would recommend. Its a nice necklace especially if you want to dress up as the character. For 10 dollars you can’t go wrong. If you want something nicer, with little to no faults, I wouldn’t buy. Hope this helps.

Arrived in used condition
This necklace is very pretty and I really like it especially for the price however, what I don't like is that you can clearly tell that it's not new. They sent me a used necklace with scratches on the back. Obviously, no one will see it because that part is not going to be visible while wearing it.

Faulty item
Unfortunately the necklace came broken so I won’t be able to close it so that means I won’t be able to use it. That supposed to be Christmas present but now I have to find something else 😓
