Best filter system.
I have had this GE system in my home for over 4 years now, paid double in BigBox store at that time. I couldn't be more pleased with the taste of the water, the rate of the flow of the water, the ease of changing filters, ease of installation, etc. I don't have any cons to write about. I'm actually just bought another one right now for my summer house.

Quit working after 4 months
Received on Feb 14, 2018. It quit working in April. I brought new filters, it worked for a month. Amazon only has a30 day return policy on this item;I guess I'll have to throw it away.

Works wonderfully when finally done
Some parts missing, needed to go to OSH/Homedepot several times. Never saw where to order replacement filters. Works wonderfully when finally done.

Total Garbage
Home Depot installed my brand new unit, it worked for 2 months then just stopped. Called HD, they refered me to the company who they contracted to install. That company could not fix it, HD refered us to GE Support. GE sent out a local company to fix, 3 weeks later they recieved the new 'membrane' defective parts, installed and the system still does not work. Total Flippin Garbage, the hell with GE and Home Depot.

GE reverse osmosis
Worthless. Save your money. Leaks. Cracks in the plastic housing which do not stop even when not in use. This unit cost more in repair bills. Lasted 5 months GE did not cover any repairs or replacement even though it was purchased directly from GE.

Stopped working after one year
This unit worked fine until, after one year, I changed the membrane according to the user guide. It has not correctly since that time. This was pretty much a waste of money and installation time.
