Pricey but real ingredients
I love Tiki Cat, but it is so expensive. My fat baby lost 7lbs eating Tiki Cat and my picky baby will actually eat most of the flavors. It's high quality food with better ingredients than most other brands and its made with real fish and chicken. The meat is in a shredded or minced texture. They also use broth for moisture instead of gravy, which is better for the cats and way less calories. My cats have never experienced any vomiting or diarrhea from this food.

High Quality Shredded Chicken
Our 12 year old, neutered, male cat was diagnosed by a vet specialist with hyperthyroidism. We struggled to find him any type of food (dry or wet), grade, brand name or ingredients to get him to eat. It took a while and I did lots of Internet research about his condition. I learned cats are obligate carnivores (meat eaters). We slowly moved away from the quality dry food he'd been eating for years, to different brands of wet foods (wet foods help cats get more water), and hit on Tiki Cat Chicken Consume' recommended by the pet food store, Pet Valu. We worked with our vet specialist to find meds to slow his metabolism and ease digestive tract irritation. He loves his Tiki, YES, it's pricey, but there are lots of flavor options and types to choose from snd it's fairly easy to find. His condition causes him to eat several meals a day, and he'll also choose to munch his original dry, too. His coat looks shiny, he's bright-eyed, playful and loving again. This minimal-ingredient food is shredded chicken with nutrient-rich consume' (broth) and worth a try when you've worried yourself sick and drained your vet of their knowledge. Buy smaller cans first, be patient with a food change over and monitor the litter box for poo changes. Stay in close touch with your vet throughout, and don't close your mind to other options besides Science Diet. If you love your babies like we do, ANYTHING is worth a try!

Cats like it
Cats like it, but it's a little pricey. Looks like good quality food - you can see the bits of fish and it's very juicy which my cats like.

Appears to be good food, but cats didn't like it.
I have 4 somewhat finicky cats. They really liked a few of the Tiki Cat flavors (Waimea Luau - Tuna on Rice with prawns, Honolulu Luau - Tuna on rice w/ Crab Surimi), but this was not one of them. It kind of surprised me since in other brands of cat food, Chicken is usually one of their favorite flavors. The chicken itself looks like just plain shredded cooked Chicken instead of the nasty loaf stuff that is in most cat foods. I like the fact that this food has no "meat by-products" and the ingredients are simple. However, I was surprised that the food is a product of Thailand - not sure if that is necessarily bad, but just something to be aware of. Their website has more information on the safety precautions they take -> [...]. I also like the fact that they have the IATTC Dolphin Safe Certification. So, if their claims are true, then this should be a pretty safe and high quality food. The trick is to get your cats to eat it. For me, I will not get this particular flavor again, but will probably continue to get some of the others that my cats seemed to like. There is a Tiki Cat sampler pack available on Amazon -> Tiki Cat King Kamehameha Luau Variety Pack Canned Cat Food if you'd like to try out the different flavors to see what your cat likes before buying in bulk. Unfortunately, the sampler pack did not include many of the flavors, so I ordered an 8-pack of the Napili and Puka Puka Luau flavors, which my cats won't seem to eat. I am very curious to try some of the other flavors, but probably won't do so unless they come out with some more sampler packs, as I don't want to buy the food in bulk and then have to give it away when my cats won't eat it....

Goopy Smelly food our cat walked away from...
Very goopy cat food... very little substance to it. Our two feline cats turned up their nose to each of the variety and walked away. Total waste of money... ugh!

disappointment
I like that it comes in a 6-ounce size and is affordable, but I'm concerned that it doesn't even have any smelly fish. My cat didn’t really like this product, and I also found it unappealing that it didn’t smell like fish either. We usually like Tiki Cat, so this was a big disappointment.

Great flavors!
I bought this for my cat who is 7 years old who has sensitive stomach. He absolutely loves the chicken and egg cat food. Also, my 2-year-old cat eats it as well. It seems to be great for their coat and skin, The effectiveness of the oils for my older cat. It helps him a lot with hairballs, the ingredients are natural and fresh. It makes my cat's coats absolutely gorgeous and soft
