Scales are nice and sleek. I originally bought them thinking that I would not have to use a tray when weighing out my powdery substance. My main intention was to be able to bring them in the car with me and not have to worry, I thought it was flat all the way to the edge but there still is a lip to it where your powdery stuff can get caught in the crevices. Overall the scales are pretty dope though! ;)

It auto shut off at about 3 minutes. I'm not even done weighing, it turns off. I dont like that.

I've been using this scale for the past 6 months to brew espresso shots. I mostly brew one shot per day, and scale is used for 5-10 minutes each time. Battery set that came with purchase lasted 3 months, but I thought it was because of bad quality batteries. So I put Duracell batteries and took note of the day I started using them: 09 JUL. Less than 3 months after starting using new batteries, scale started showing LO in display and turns off after that. For me, it drains batteries too quickly. I'll try rechargeble batteries as I don't want to change batteries every 3 months or so. Another thing I'd like to highlight is that buttons are positioned on the sides of scale. I thought it would be good, but it makes one-handed operation less pleasant as you have to pinch scale to press the buttons. I'm not complaining about it, just be aware of its drawback. ON/OFF button on my unit is kind of loose, but it's ok for me... Scale build quality and design looks really great. It's also good that it fits my manual espresso machine (Cafelat Robot).

I received my second scale and it's still needs to be calibrated out of the box. So frustrating I didn't have a 200g weight when I first got the first order and it needed calibration so i went back on Amazon they offered a replacement and a UPS call tag to ship the defective. Second scale came in a few days later and same thing "CAL".... omg so now with 2 storms non working needing calibration I decided to get the 200g weight for like 6$. The weight came in a few days later so I follow the steps from the manuals and got past the CAL. I'm thinking okay let me calibrate both since I can now and maybe I'll give one to my brother for his kitchen. Testing them both after calibration and they still give me in accurate readings even when I put the 200g weight it's either over buy a few or under by a few 198.02, 203.98 put a nickel on it says 8.78G wtf!!!!' Trying different times different parts of my home to make sure no electronic interference or vibration with level foundations and still not accurate on both?? I've put to the side and figured I will try to calibrate again later when I get time but still no luck but now I can't return either of them I'm stuck with 2 non accurate scales and a useless 200g weight. What a waste of time and money very disappointed I thought this would be one of the higher end models it looks really nice and pretty but now they sit in a chore collecting dust.

Awesome scale. Not as heavy duty as I apparently need however
