Beautiful, quality made product.
Quality made, beautiful table. Very sturdy. Nice finish although there were some marks on the top. Nice height. Good instructions and easy to assemble. Beautiful color. Well packaged. Fast shipping. Reasonable price. Overall, I am very pleased.

Great table but a flaky assembly guide
This table is just what I needed, although I had to go to the Dorel Home Products website to get the complete proper dimensions. The top shelf is 12 x 16 inches, and it's 29 inches tall. The bottom shelf is 6 inches above the floor (one of my requirements).Unlike some reviewers, everything was carefully packaged and in perfect condition, and all the smaller parts were in a sealed package. Everything was properly labeled and easy to identify. It was very easy to assemble, the cams all worked fine, and none of the wood split. All of the pieces were the right size and the fit was perfect. One major shortcoming was the assembly instructions which, like most of these home-assembly products, were not clear enough. They used all line drawings with no words and no cautions. Despite the good parts labeling, this created some confusion and one step that had to be redone. When in Step 2, you attach the legs to the bottom shelf, be careful to make sure that the flat, pre-drilled corner at the other end of the legs is toward the inside. Their line drawing barely shows the difference, and it's easy to reverse them.Otherwise, it's a good quality, nice looking table, at a fairly reasonable price.

Great little table!
The table fits perfectly in a small space by the bed or anywhere. It’s tall so it looks good next to the bed. It was easy to assemble and seems sturdy. It’s light weight which makes it easy to move. The storage space underneath is nice for a books or other items. I’m pleased with the quality and price of the table.Mara B

Really nice for the money, but I had to fix mine
I bought two of these at the same time (Feb 2019). These are solid wood (they are *not* composite with veneer). The finish is good and the color is mostly dark brown but with reddish hues. The style is simple but elegant. My wife likes them too. They are not fancy, but I think they are surprisingly good quality for the price I paid ($47.59 each). They go quite well with the Pottery Barn Benchwright furniture that we have. For pre-pack furniture, these really exceeded my expectations. They even come with little round soft pads for the bottom of the feet so they don’t scratch your floor. The instructions and assembly would have been very simple... if it were not for the manufacturing defects that I had to fix. Here’s my attempt to describe the problem and how I fixed it:The bottom shelf is a single piece of wood with four holes (let’s call them “tunnels”) drilled from the edge inward. At the end of each tunnel is a cylindrical cutout that you put the cam into and then turn to lock onto the head of the metal pin that goes through the tunnel. Normally, you just screw one of the four metal pins into each of the legs and then slide the pin into one of the tunnels and put the cam onto the end of the pin (and turn to lock the cam). Easy-peasy. This is very standard for pre-pack some-assembly-required furniture.Unfortunately, 3 of the 4 tunnels on one of my tables and 1 of the 4 tunnels on the other table were inaccurately drilled by about 1/16”. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but it meant that the pins were difficult to slide into the tunnels and were then pushed out of the correct alignment angle so that the cams won’t slide over the head of the pins. Being somewhat handy, I just took a power drill with a 5/16” drill bit and widened the four incorrectly drilled tunnels in the right direction by 1/16”. This was a little tricky because drill bits don’t generally cut sideways very well, but I was able to slowly widen the tunnel in one direction with a little wiggling and perseverance. (PSA: Always wear eye protection when working with power tools.)I wasn’t certain this would produce a good result, but it did. The result turned out just as well as if there was no manufacturing defect. Now the pins go straight though the tunnels and I can lock the cams over the ends of the pins. With the cams tightened, the table is actually fairly sturdy. It feels like one solid piece, not wobbly.Of course, I have no idea what the probability is that anyone else will encounter this problem, but my incidence of this problem was 100% (since I had the problem on 2 of the 2 tables I bought), so I thought I’d explain how I solved it in case that helps someone else.I would have given these a 5-star rating because the value for cost ratio seems very high to me, but I’m docking a point for the manufacturing defects. Obviously, the manufacturer should improve their manufacturing process and quality control (apparently in Vietnam).

Very sturdy, beautiful table
I needed a very small end table to fit into a tight space next to our bed, and this seemed like the best fit for the best price. I've been really happy with it so far. It's big enough to fit a lamp, a small decorative plant, and my fiance's phone and glasses easily; we use the bottom shelf to hold our white noise machine. There were only a few pieces and assembly took less than 10 minutes. I was skeptical of how much weight it would hold when I was putting it together, but it seems like it could handle much more than what we need it to! My only issue was one edge came slightly scuffed up, but it isn't super noticeable or severe so it doesn't bother me. Overall, it's a good table and worth every penny!

End Table Better Than What I Expected!
I was looking for a small end table to place between our leather couches and this Dorel seemed like it would fit the bill! After reading the reviews there was some confusion with the measurements and I decided to look up this item on google and found the exact measurements. This is for the END TABLE not console table which some have noted in the reviews and I confused for the end table instead. The END TABLE is 16" length, 12" width and 29" height. It's annoying that amazon decided to combine the console and end table in one page causing a mix up in everyone's reviews. The end table arrived in great condition, no defects on the finish or condition of the wood. Assembly was easier than expected and took less than 15 mins to put together. Not heavy at all, light weight and can store a decent weight on the bottom shelf and top. There is a slight wobble, but only if you forcefully wobble it. Since we have thick carpet the wobble is nonexistent and stays put very well. I was concerned about the height, but it worked out great since our previous smaller height table kept hitting the recliner. The height of this end table worked out better than expected! The finish is great, exactly as pictured! It ended up matching our expensive coffee table (which did not come with matching end tables when we purchased it). Overall, terrific product with great price! Would buy this again!
