TimbrenGMFK25D Suspension Enhancement System for Ford Silverado/Sierra 2WD/4WD

Just installed the Timbren GMFK25D bump stops on the front of a 2015 Chevy 3500 dually. I needed some additional stability for the front for heavy loads and these I think will definitely give me as much as I can possibly get on this truck. The installation was harder than the directions make out but not impossible either. Getting the Timbrens back into the socket that the stock bump stops came out of requires some contortionist moves within the limited space available. I choose to not remove the front tires and had I done that, it might have been easier. The use of the wood block and soapy water is a defininte must to get the Timbrens fully seated. The provided directions are more than adequate.The first look indicated that the front end is a bit higher than previous with the truck a bit more level than before. The ride on rough surfaces is a bit stiffer and bumpy, but on paving there was little if any noticiable difference in ride quality with the truck empty. The picture above shows the diference in overall height between the stock and Timbren stops.Drivability and handling seemed to be unaffected as well. The extra height and stiffness will be a welcome addition to the heavy camper loads that this vehicle hauls and there should also be additional benefit on windy days, especially in side winds, in reducing vehicle sway and roll.Overall this will be a very useful addition to this vehicle and will definitely provide the additioal stiffness and manageability on the front end. The installation is more challenging, however with some time and patience, and blocking for the truck while working under it to ensure safety, this is a doable project.

This is an amazing product I suggest to either get a small lift kit like about 1.5-inch lift to retain the smooth ride of the front but this install was difficult. Be prepared with a saw to cut wedges and a jack to lift and lower your vehicle to seat the new rubber bumpers in. But there was no way for me to get the Timbrens started just by hand I had to use the weight of the car and the wood wedges to get them to seated in. If the Timbrens wedges and the cup from the truck don't match up they will pop out. This was particularly hard due to the angle of the lower A-arm of the chevy Silverado I have

I have used this product for decades and this one just like the rest are doing exactly what I need for my plow on front of truck. earlier this year had a issue with set on rear of flatbed truck they replaced free of charge and follow up was great it I nice to work with a company that still believes in customer service Thanks Timbren.

I have a 2014 Silverado, and with the blizzard 8100 snow plow attached, the front end was quit mushy and sagged considerably. When I installed the Timbren there was an immediate and noticable change in the way the front end responded. I am VERY HAPPY with the results.

Works good with my plow on my 13 2500hd crew. Hardest part is getting it in the cup on the frame. Jacked the truck up and put blocks under the tire then let the truck down to push them in.
