I bought this for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7", which I've had for 5ish years. I use it as an in-dash tablet in my car. The battery was at a point where overnight in standby with no extra features on (GPS, WiFi, etc.) it would lose 40% of its charge. Because I only drive 15 minutes each way to work, it would only charge about 10% each way. Eventually it would be completely dead, and I'd have to remove it from inside the dash and charge inside. The battery I received was branded as Samsung, and had the exact same words, logos, markings, stickers, etc. as the one I removed. I'm not sure if it's a really good knock off or an actual real one, but I was surprised at how they matched exactly. No tools were included (I purchased from ZWXJ) but I already have them. The fit was exactly as the original, all the screw holes lined up perfectly. I charged it overnight and installed back in my car the next morning. After the first overnight, it had only lost 7% of its charge, and was fully charged by the time I got into work. This appears to work perfectly, as the original once did. I will update this review if anything happens otherwise. Highly recommend.

Excellent generic replacement battery. The original Samsung battery died after roughly four years of usage. I needed to get a replacement quickly. At first, I was a little skeptical about purchasing this batter as it didn't have the "Samsung" logo. However, I decided to take a chance and I'm really glad I did. I swapped out the dead batter in my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and voila... the replacement battery worked perfectly. Also, I was totally shocked as to the speedy delivery. I ordered it on Wednesday and expected a Friday delivery. I was surprised that by Thursday evening I had the battery waiting at my doorstep. I would definitely recommend this product and the vendor

It works but doesn't last as long as the original did. There aren't any instructions on how to install it, thank goodness for YouTube. Also, the original battery gave a warning at about 12% then dimmed the screen at 9% so you could plug in before the tablet shut down. With this battery, there is no warning and the tablet shuts down at 30%. Next time I'll try a different brand. Although I would buy this one again if necessary.

Looks like samsung battery, fits perfectly, but electrically different. Samsung batteries are 4.3V max charge all others are 4.2V. This battery is 4.2V. You can tell when it charges it jumps from 75% to 100% when battery hits 4200mV. Life is likely to be less due to tablet charging at wrong voltage during CV portion of charge. I charge with 800mA charger to be safe. On the plus side it appears to be high quality and holds a charge well. I would be careful charging with the stock 2A charger UPDATE: After a few charge/discharge cycles the tablet has recalibrated itself and seems to be charging the battery properly to 4.2V

This replacement battery is meant to be used for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 inches. We have the wifi version. The first battery arrived quickly but did not charge correctly. We received a replacement in no time and it is working great. Customer service is great, you can rely on. If there is any problem, they will take care of it. The battery holds charge nicely.

Not good enough, disappointed. I had to go to a battery store and get and new battery. Second hand, no good.

this is the 1st time for a replacement battery to be installed and the battery arrived on the 16th of August and I installed it around midnight of the 17th, it was installed by 1am and plugged into the electric. When I got up at 8:30 am I turned on the device and it was only charged 47% so I left it charging until Aug 19th then unplugged it at 12:48 am and started redownloading apps, by 12:59 am the charge went down to 95%, then at 1:10 am it went down to 90% and by 2:50 am the charge was 50%. The battery I replaced held the charge longer than this supposed NEW one and this drains faster. Contacted Amazon around 3:30 am on the 18th and gave them the same information. I watched the video on YouTube on how to remove and replace a battery and I will be taking a picture of the battery when I go to remove it to show that it was installed properly

The battery was delivered as promised, was fairly straight forward to install and is fully functional, giving the tablet back its youthful performance. Instructions for installation are available on the web. The power connector is a little dicey, as a wee bit of corrosion on the old connector can disguise that you need to lift, not pull, the battery side connector. Most satisfactory.
