same as what you can get in the stores, just convenient to have a lot of them in the cupboard.

These plates work really good for me, but now I can’t order them because shipping is blocked due to size or it toxic.This is crazy, I order these once a month.I have called Amazon and it’s still not working.

For what I use these for they are perfect. You won't be happy loading up one plate with ribs and potato salade, it'll likely end up on the ground, use two or three, or go with Chinet. For microwaving, cutting fruit and vegetables, and a myriad of other uses, especially when losing power, these are a must have in the kitchen just for convenience.

I've struggled with how I wanted to approach writing this review because of course, I always want it to be honest and factual but at the same time I also want to be fair to the manufacturer. So, let me start by saying these paper plates by AJM Packaging 'can' be a good thing if you consider these top 10 points:1.) These 9" white paper plates are made in the USA and cost less than 2 cents each.2.) They are uncoated (which I prefer, especially when microwaving).3.) They have raised, fluted sides (and a 5.5" diameter basin) which help prevent contents from sliding off the plate or spilling.4.) They are compostable and eco-friendly.5.) They are certified renewable and natural sources of the Sustainable Forestry Initiative.6.) 10 packs of 100 paper plates at under $17 is an excellent deal if you do indeed use one single plate for each serving; therefore, it is best to use these with paper plate holders if you are serving ANYTHING of ANY weight, WHATSOEVER.7.) One paper plate is so thin that when you put your hand behind it, you can actually see through the paper plate and see your hand clearly.8.) Consider different applications for the paper plates, such as for mixing small dabs of acrylic paint, a place to lay paint brushes down temporarily and potentially unlimited OTHER CRAFT USE. This would be an ideal use for these plates...especially scissor cutting projects for young children. These paper plates would be ideal for daycares or pre-schools where minimal, ultra-light-weight snacks are served AT AND UPON the table.9.) These would be good for small-dog pet-food use.10.) If you're going to invest in bulk purchase of these paper plates, to maximize their usage and cost saving measures, invest in paper plate holders for home use, parties or group functions. You can buy paper plate holders at the dollar store and once you have them, that's when you will truly love and appreciate using these paper plates. ****FOR EXAMPLE WITHOUT A PAPER PLATE HOLDER: In my experience and estimation, you will need to use 4-5 of this particular brand of paper plate to hold a sandwich, potato salad and a pickle. These are very thin paper plates, but their thinness is not an issue you necessarily have to deal with, if indeed, you utilize paper plate holders.You will receive 10 100-count, very secure poly-shrink-wrap-sealed packages.***** I include the following information for those who require or appreciate sensory-modality fine-detailing: The paper is bright white and presents quite well as visually appealing and the texture is smooth and has a pleasing textile quality. The plates have no noxious odors, unpleasant smells or any chemical scent whatsoever to them. The plastic wrap housing them is odorless as well. (I include this information for those who are scent-sensitive.)USAGE UPDATE: A 6-oz. portion of 5-layer lasagna required 4 paper plates and the soak-through was under 5 minutes. Each layer of paper plate was soaked through. My American Bull dog wanted to lick the plate clean and left a 2' hole as his tongue licked right through the paper.

About what I expected. Price went up and debating wether to purchase again

Arrived packed well and in good condition. There is no funky odor or chemical smell which I have noticed in some paper items in the past. These do not have any odor and are just clean, white , paper plates. I mean who doesn’t need paper plates to make your life easier or use for crafts or in my case I have my Saint Bernard literally poo on a stack of 3 plates so that it’s easier to clean up. Correct. I use these on every doggy walk to catch the stuff no one wants to pick up with their hands…especially after 135lb dog. A stack of three handles that very well. (You have to be sure you have a sturdy stack when dealing with the dog, no one wants a dropped plate of poop everywhere! Lol. But seriously. You don’t.). These don’t have any wax coating so you can literally use them for whatever. I have a 4 for sturdiness because they are as sturdy as I would expect for these plates. They aren’t meant to serve huge meals loaded with sauce. If you need to serve something heavy’ish, just use a few of them. Obviously, if you need to serve a lasagna I would recommend getting a plate that has the wax bc the paper obviously wouldn’t hold up well with all that sauce but again…a huge case of the perfect everyday plate.
