Durable, Powerful, and Convenient
To begin, this spear came very quickly, and I was able to join a friend out in the water the next day! I was able to fit the product into my backpack and assemble it within a minute of arriving at the lake. Even when under the water, the shaft has amazing grip, I was able to comfortably hold the shaft while pulling the elastic. I was also surprised with the power of the sling, I was able to get a gar from around 6 feet away without even pulling the spear all the way back! Overall great product and would recommend! The spearhead was still sharp when I was done for the day, even though I missed a few and hit the rocks! So convenient because I could just deconstruct it and put it back in my backpack for the car ride back!

cheap powerful and sturdy
I got this product about 6 months ago and durring that time this pole has not given me any problems. Its obviously 5ft long it screws apart into 3 separate pieces and fits into a 24" bag so its really good for travel and carrying it around. Its very sturdy and after you take a shot you can very quickly reload (unlike a speargun.)One thing to consider is that the fish you shoot has to be withing 5ft max from you because it wont reach and if you let go of the spear it wont be as powerful an you may lose it.The only problem i have had with this is the paralyzer it doesn't have anything on the end so you could lose the fish.

Good cheap travel polespear
Bought this to try spearing on a trip. Worked well and speared a few fish. Pole is well made, for the price. The hole for attaching the band was sharp and quickly frayed the cord in the band. I used a chamfer bit to deburr, but it still needs more attention. I think a better rope/cord could be used in the band. Seems like a good first pole spear. I will fix the band and keep it as a backup.

Over 120 dives hunting lionfish with this spear...
The perfect lionfish spear! I've used this for the past year. Over 120 dives hunting lionfish with this spear and I can say it holds up really well! Bought a second one for a dive buddy as a gift. Compact for travel and excellent reach when needed. Fiberglass shaft doesn't slip in my grip like aluminum does. Compact spread on the trident head too. Doesn't go around the fish and form a cage. Almost always a three prong hit. Well done!

Does what you need
Well built spear. Good strength rubber material so it won’t break easily. Look forward to taking it out lionfishing.

There's definitely better ones out there, but this works okay
I only killed 1 lionfish and then lost it during the asent on the following dive. It seemed to work fine during the short time I had it, however I will say it seemed to be a lot more flimsy compared to other Spears I've used in the past.

Decent travel sized. Took down big fish.
Sturdy when put together. It takes some practice and skill to not hurt your hands when you use the product because of the raised metal center where the pieces connect. Was able to spear a 19" 4.5lb small mouth and it didn't come off the spear. A few fish were able to kick off the end of the spear but it depends on how solid of a hit you make. Overall a good buy.

No directions and hole for band not cleaned out
The unit itself appears very sound, well built and clean of debris on the outer shaft.I am concerned there are no directions with it as to the best method to attached the rubber band to the spear. The end of the spear has a hole but it is full of fiberglass. Something I would expect the manufacturer to address before shipping. I have not tried it yet.
