The Anne of Green Gables Collection

it's super cute great quality and arrived sooner than expected

I had originally purchased another box set which contains 8 books but returned it because I felt the books and fonts were small, making it difficult to read. This box set contains only 6 books, but the books and fonts are bigger, and the jackets are more modern. This set would have been 5 stars had there been chronology numbers imprinted on the books to guide the readers. For those who are familiar, it may not be a problem; but for those who are new, it may not be apparent.

I bought this, as I’ve read the books as a child and fell in love with Anne Shirley and her mischief. I’ve been searching for a good box set of the entire series, and I’ve finally found it. This box set includes all 6 books, and are in in a cute box. The books themselves are matte and are beautifully designed and feel expensive. They novels look timeless, and it feels so nice to have them in my hands. The box did come damaged, but the books themselves are okay. I just would be careful with the box, because the corners are bent/beat up. But overall, the quality of the books took me by surprise and I’m glad I bought it.

I found the box and covers of the books to be quite lovely and vibrant. The text size was comfortable to read as well. The only downside to this collection is that it is not complete. Two books care missing (Anne of Ingleside and Anne of Windy Poplars). For the 6 books it does contain, I feel that the price is fair and look forward to reading them.

My girl loves those books, especially “ Rainbow Valley”.

Bought for my 10 year old grand daughter, she loves the series, a bit advanced reading level for her age, but says she loves the story!!

O box é muito bonito e bastante resistente, chegou em perfeitas condições, mas não tem dois livros da coleção inteira de Anne of Green Gables - Anne of Windy Poplars e Anne of Ingleside, que, cronologicamente, se encaixam entre Anne of the Island, Anne's House of Dreams e Rainbow Valley.1. Confesso que fiquei um pouco desapontada quando descobri, pois a mesma editora não tem as versões similares dos livros que faltam no box - são capas e tamanhos diferentes - o que vai contra toda a ideia de comprar um box: os livros vão ficar diferentes.

O box é muito bonito e é feito de papelão bem resistente!Os livros possuem capa e folhas de material comum. No geral, eu gostei bastante e a entrega foi bem rápida!

I had been looking for a set of these iconic books for a long time . These are a lovely set ; pretty covers , well bound with decent paper and fonts , and the box is sturdy .The price dropped right after they shipped ... not happy about that ..

Been a fan of the Anne of Green Gables saga since I was a child. I love this set because the print is just the right size and the book covers are gorgeous. Highly recommend!
