Perfect for small watercraft on muck bottom lake!
Worked perfectly to hold our 9 person raft in the lake all day in the same spot with plenty of current

It's an anchor, but don't ask me what Pe Coat is. Probably a typo ? ?
About the only thing You could use this for is a Boat Anchor. Oh - Haha ! ! ! It "IS" a boat anchor. So Seriously - I had no idea what a Pe Coat was and assumed it was some kind of vinyl coating. It's not. It appears to be an anchor painted black. If You're looking for an inexpensive anchor that does what an anchor does, this is a good choice. If You're looking for a vinyl coated anchor that's less likely to scratch your pretty boat when you bang it against the side, spend a few more dollars on one that says it's vinyl or soft vinyl coated.

Great anchor for inflatable
Great little anchor. We use it with an inflatable in the high lakes of Oregon. The lakes get windy and the boat gets blown around, but this anchor never budges. I have never regretted bringing this anchor along.

Uses mysterious force
This coated upside down mushroom will sink to the bottom of a lake by a mysterious force. If you hang it over your boat and let it go.. it will always drop in a downward direction. I'm gonna' buy stock in this company. Recommended.

Good for the Price!
I got this to help anchor a large 10 person raft. It did not hold completely on the river. Sometimes, it would get taken with the current if there was not enough sand on it and it is a big raft to try to hold. We ended up using 2. The one that comes with the raft that you fill with sand and this one. This one is definitely easier to get in and out of the water when you are ready to move. The bag filled with sand is a pain.

Would Buy Again
I use two of these (one aft, one bow) on my inflatable PVC boat and they stick me to the bottom in mud bottoms at up to about 15 mph winds, depending on wave height, that's about the point where the waves will pick me up from the bottom, but if the winds are that high I usually call it a day anyways. If I ever have to cut an anchor rope I would buy this again.

What’s not to like?
What’s not to like? It’s heavy. It goes to the bottom of the lake and holds buoys in place.

Exactly what I needed
The anchor is as advertised. There is a thick layer on the outside to protect my canoe which I appreciate.
