The mold is well made and not flimsy like some molds. I used Form Flex Compound for one of the borders and it came out beautifully.

i used these to make embellishments for clay pots they worked awsome

Good quality molds. A little pricey but are worth it.

In order to offer a fair review, I think it’s important to note that this mold is designed for use with paper clay, clay, resin and other moldable products. Each of the products would have a very different outcome using this mold. I used paper clay.The mold was easy to use, and it is very durable. But the results do vary here’s an example in the picture you’ll see three versions of the mold using paper clay the results for each one varied significantly.This doesn’t speak to the ease of use, durability, or sturdiness of the product, it does speak to the variability of medium used in the product.

i now have a whole collection of wings and gears to use for any future projects! easy to fill the mold and easy to remove.because the mold is pretty thick i don't fill the entire space with clay or resin as i like the look of a thinner embellishment.

I like that the silicon mould is a quite solid texture (unlike cheaper softer ones sold by competitors...not all moulds are made from the same type and texture of silicon) and the Prima Moulds’ firm texture makes them useable for a variety of moulding substances. Prima Moulds have no “undercuts” which can be a problem when one goes to un-mould a substance. Since it is smaller, the details in it range from medium to small, unlike their bigger 5”x8” moulds which often have either lots of small to medium details or one very large and a few medium details. If you work smaller and not bigger, then this is a nice size mould that will give a couple of medium and some much smaller pieces for mixed media work. I will probably stick to Prima Decor and Redesign moulds due to texture and usability of the mould after receiving a mould from a competitor that was too soft for what they were advertising, had too many undercuts, was warped and some of the moulding areas were “closed”. Prima Moulds have none of these issues. Worth the cost.
