My favorite salt licorice
This is the best I can find on Amazon. The 1 kilo bag lasts quite a while. It's appropriate it is sold in a kilo bag because it reminds me of other white powdery products packaged in kilo quantities -- very addictive! I've been trying for years to find salt licorice as good as I bought in Iceland. This isn't the same but it's close enough. Really good, addictive, not too salty -- great balance of salt and sweet. Licorice is very firm, not too soft, but slightly gummy.

Black Gold
It was like swirling little black holes of flavor on the wet, flat tongue of eternity.

Seems a little odd
I’m unsure what’s going on with this shipment. It could be I’ve never had it extremely fresh or it could’ve been a bad bag. The flavor is fine but it’s very gummy. I’ve had these candies from multiple shops and I’ve been eating them for decades. But they’re very soft. I’m tempted to return them but the taste isn’t off. I hope to get better quality next time because it’s more like a gummy bear than a drop.

Strange taste.
Sorry, overwhelming ammonia like essence. Delicious turns to ghastly.

Tastes more like licorice than double salted
Having been born and raised dutch, I have loved salt licorice. Double salt it is not. The texture is not hard, but soft. It's a tasty black licorice, but not salty enough for me. Double salt should be Double salt

Childhood memories, but over priced
Great licorice! One of the best licorice brands ever. I grew up with Venco, but with said I found the 2.2lbs bag way too expensive compared to the prices in The Netherlands or in Europe. I am aware of the additional mark-up knowing that the factory is not based in the US, so the price increases due to the logistics/import/export/taxes... etc but still.... too expensive in my opinion.

Fresh and legit Dutch licorice
The taste and texture of these are what I was expecting and what I got used to as a kid visiting family in the Netherlands. Sometimes these imported Dutch licorices are stale but I'm happy to say what I got from this vendor was not. Saw some reviews shocked about the taste and ammonium chloride on the label; yeah, that's what this stuff is made with. This is not for people expecting Twizzler licorice. You should only buy this if you already know what this stuff tastes like, and I haven't met anyone who tried it for the first time as an adult and liked it. If you grew up with it, yes, this is what you're looking for.

Sehr bedauerlich.
