Great low light visibility
These sights are great. I had a local gunsmith install them. He had to create a press that would work on my Ruger, the standard sight press wouldn't work due to the design of my slide (Ruger SR40c). I also carry in a Blackhawk locking holster, the sights were slightly taller than stock and I had to Dremel out a little material in my holster for it to fit properly. Other than that they are amazing. Low light/ no light, no problem.

Dull, Lifeless, Poor Quality,
I really looked forward to these sights. I had received a new Ruger LC9S from my wife for Christmas and these seemed like the perfect addition to help me with target acquisition in dim light. I had a gunsmith install them, and headed to the range. The first thing I noticed is that indoors or in anything less than direct sunlight the Fiber optics do not gather enough illumination to appear any brighter than the factory white dot sights. Second the photos shown on Amazon and the manufacturers website with the twinkle of brightness are really overstated. Kind of like the twinkle off teeth in a toothpaste add isn't true but you really don't expect teeth to twinkle, they are just making an exaggeration for marketing purposes. I don't appreciate that in my gun sight. In complete darkness the sights are so dim as to only be seen after several minutes of vision adjustment. If its dark enough to see the glow, it is far to dark to see a target, let alone be irresponsible enough to go slinging lead around. The Truglo video on their website shows a lady using what appears to the same model gun and the sights are pinprick bright. The Truglo TFX sights I received were dull lifeless plastic looking inserts. Simply put, the glow in the dark feature is useless for practical purposes and the fiber optics require direct sunlight to really make a difference. But all of that aside, the worst was yet to come. After about 200 rounds of 9MM the front sight just shot right off the gun from the recoil. Keep in mind these had been pressure fit into the front dovetail with a sight pusher vise. I had not noticed them being loose after the gun smith installed them. There were no shavings off the dovetail slot on the gun upon examination, but the front sight which has no set screw, now would push into the slot by hand on my new gun. The factory sights were replaced and still fit tight after another 300 rounds. The Truglo sights appear to have poor tolerances on their production. In my opinion and personal experience these are overrated and of dubious manufacture quality. I really appreciate the ability to send them back in the original packaging as an Amazon Prime member. Otherwise this would have been money wasted.

Muuuuuch better sights for a Ruger SR9 than the factory sights.
Bought these after shooting at an Armadillo when I was hunting. I couldn't see the dots on the rear so I decided I needed something that would be highly visible. I use this weapon as a duty weapon as well. Suffice it to say, these are much more visible and I'm liking that! Installation is impossible without a sight press so you'll need a gunsmith to install them. In my case, the supposed gunsmith didn't want to mess with a Ruger so I took matters into my own hands and bought a sight press. Once I did that, it was a pretty straight forward job that took about 25 minutes. The front sight is a little weird looking, but it holsters with no problems and is highly visible.

Excellent product and customer service
I purchased these sights on the recommendation by my neighbor who has two sets of these same sights. Be aware these sights need to be professionally installed by a gunsmith with a sight press. That said, they made my Ruger American Compact 9mm come alive. The fiber optics work very well in daylight and the Tritium glow in total darkness. I'm impressed by these sights and very impressed by TruGlo's customer service. You can buy from them without reservation.

Makes the Ruger SR9 much more accurate
I am quite familiar with the TFX TFO sights having installed them on a Glock 22 and a CZ75B. Acquired a used SR9 and shot it with stock sights. They were OK but front sight wasn’t a great sight picture and the gun shot high. I have the MGW sight installation tool which does a great job of pressing sights in and out of dovetail cuts in the slide. These installed easily using the tool as always. Took it to the range and consistently shot 1-2” groups offhand at 7 yards even with stock trigger (which I will work on next). Very pleased.

Great product
These went on easily since I also purchased a sight spreader vice. They really add to the sight picture in the daylight and, at lower lighting, really aid in lining up sights w target. Even in the dark, they show nicely. They are well made, have good instructions, and make the SR9c much more capable. I’m getting more for my lc9s pro as well.

Great combo sights
I have heard these kinds of sights are too fragile to use a punch, so I just skipped buying a sight press and had a local gunsmith do it. These sights are amazing in the dark. They are almost as good as fiber optic sights in the day, but not quite, due to the fiber optic portion being semi-shrouded. However, in the dark they shine like little glowsticks inot a 45 degree angle behind the gun. This is the best day/night sight combination available for the guns it fits. My only complaint is the front sight could be red or orange to make target acquisition a little faster. Lining up three greens quickly takes some practice.

High Tech visibility; improved accuracy.
These were the first after-market sights I purchased for my Ruger American pistol. I needed improved accuracy for distances beyond 15 yards. These sights look amazing compared to the stock Novak sights. The front sight is a little large, but the improved visibility did increase my accuracy up to 20 yards. The rear sight has a very low profile, and the fiber optics are incredible!!

Wow.
Très bien fait, juste un peux de fitting à faire. Super en pleine noirceur.
