Very practical way to discreetly feed your baby.
I just received this in the mail yesterday. I have the blush color and it is more like a light pink than the picture shows as a beigy pink. It is very pretty. I haven't used it yet, as I'm due in another 6 weeks, but I can see that I will be perfectly comfortable using this when we have visitors over, rather than leaving the room and our guests.I ordered this over the typical apron style cover ups because I don't want it to look like I am about to bake some cookies. I feel those other styles call too much attention to what mom is doing. And I think they are hideous. But this is pashmina and so soft. Great quality. And the blush is not see through either. I didn't want black because I don't want the baby thinking it is in a hole while nursing. And this blush will go as a great looking scarf with any outfit.I am a shorter person and petite built. I thought the length was perfect, even if you were average or taller in height. It has a nice stitched "Pashmama" logo on the back of the neck that is the same color as the material of the scarf you select. Very tasteful. You won't have to worry about a peep show wearing this. It is very light for baby and breathable. But, I will be testing it soon enough on the baby.

my go-to nursing cover that doesn't look like a nursing cover
This was recommended by a friend and has been my go to cover..positives:-It doesn't scream nursing cover, which was a priority for me-large enough to hide from the top and sides-was able to use it as a shawl at a wedding when my little one was only a month old. if you put it on so the hole is at the top on your back, you don't even see the opening and it just looks like a shawlnegatives:-can get warm under the cover, especially in warmer weather-I would prefer if it didn't have fringes as I feel they can just get in the way and are more likely to get stuck in zippers in my diaper bag when stored there-because it doesn't have a stiff edge like other nursing covers, it can be difficult to see in the top while both of your hands are tied up help with latching/positioning.

Just what I needed
The cover is nice and lightweight so I think the baby is comfy under it. Definitely can't tell that this is a nursing cover and is easy to carry around because you can just wrap it around your neck. The problem with this cover is that there isnt anything in the back, so I have to be careful who's around back, which kind of defeats the purpose. ( I don't wear nursing tops so I have to lift up my tee.) The cover is big enough though that you can wrap it around back, but it's tricky and doesn't stay. Also the baby has lint on her outfit from the cover and in between her hands and toes. It comes off in the wash, no biggie. Overall I'm happy with it and would recommend, especially if you wear nursing tops. I mean people are surprised when I pull her out because they had no idea I was nursing, the cover is so discreet.

Good Quality Pumping Cover - Helpful at Work
I actually got this as a pumping cover, not a nursing cover. The product was a surprisingly good quality for the price, and great for the work environment as black goes with most professional looks. The picture might be a bit misleading though. The opening for your head is not in the middle of the scarf, it is to one side. Thus there is a bit of "sidedness" which could be problematic if you're trying to stay fully covered while pumping both, um, sides at once. Covering everything is probably more critical if you have to pump at your open desk / in a cubicle area. The fabric will fully cover one side, but won't as easily fully cover both sides. One side might be left a bit more open due to the head hole placement. My experience is with the medela freestyle hands-free pump. Other pumps might be more easily covered by this product.

Great style, not practical
The material feels nice and the color/quality are great... for wearing as a shawl or scarf. However, trying to nurse in this thing was awful. I used it outdoors, and I always had to try and lift up the fabric, so I could see my baby. The very worst experience was trying to use this in an airplane: It heats up fast under this cover and my poor baby was sweating buckets. Also, since this cover is black, I could barely see his little mouth to try and guide the latch. This made my trip super tough. Luckily, I had an extra cotton cover with the rigid neckline for the return flight.I'm keeping this as a shawl with a hole, but definitely won't be nursing with this ever again.

Not Great for Summer Use, Very Classy Looking
It's a great winter nursing cover but I have to find something lighter for the warmer three seasons. It's not thick or heavy, it's just very warm and cozy. Even around the house when their is a bit of a chill its perfect to keep me and the baby warm but if it's above 75, we both will start perspire when the cover is in use. It looks amazing, I have a love of scarfs and my mom was complimenting me on my new scarf and I had to giggle.Makes for an excellent gift, but if you're a mom on a budget go with the cooler one first, you'll get more use out of it.

Cute but hot!
The other reviews say this cover isn't warm, but I disagree. Maybe it's because I live in Texas, but I was sweating underneath it until the weather recently cooled off. I had to make sure the side was vented because I was worried my baby would get too hot underneath it. I would definitely not recommend this cover for warm climates during the summer. That aside, it is definitely cuter than any other nursing cover I've ever seen, so as long as you live somewhere that the weather is mild, this is a great cover :)

Perfect for winter mamas!!
I am breast feeding mom of over a year now to my daughter. I have two of these pashmama scarves and love them! Noone can tell that they are a nursing cover when you are wearing as a decorative scarf. Also, it is so easy to just sit down anywhere, pull the cover over you and baby, and nurse! It is a little see through but noone will be able to see anything, even if they stare hard enough! :) This is a great item for hip mommas who want to be in style but feel comfortable nursing in public!
