Not necessarily for 250 pound parking stop blocks but a great pry bar
This is a great pry bar, but it is the lightest duty of all the varieties of the Burke style bar Marshalltown makes. If you are trying to lift 250 pound concrete parking stop blocks and overcome another 100-200 pounds of torque from the anchors, then likely the "Big Bad Monster" would be the one for the job or at least the "Premier Line". The more you step up in the Marshalltown line, the higher the load capacity. Some of the features that may upgrade are heavier guage square tubing, longer handle and/or the blade gets wider and thicker. We typically use the Big Bad Monster for heavy duty jobs such as with heavy duty machinery/equipment and their implements or lifting and nudging 20' storage containers. The reason for having at least two models of this bar is that the Big Bad Monster can become heavy and unwieldy if using above your waist and especially manipulating things overhead. For typical remodeling and demolition the Little Monster is the best version due to it's lighter weight and will be more than sufficient in most cases. If you're concerned about the limitations of the Little Monster and you think you're going to need something really heavy duty that is going to last a lifetime, then at least step up to the Premier Line if not the Big Bad Monster.

Great tool. Good quality.
This lry bar was exactly the tool I needed. I'm building a firepit in an area that I thought I could just use the tiller to dig up but soon found many flat, odd shape rocks that were sizes vary from 12 to six inches long and they were packed in but with the help of a hammer, chisel, hoe and this tool, I'm about 3/4ths done.My handyman was putting in a patio door for us and having trouble getting a 2x4 up. I loaned him my ply bar and it came up the first try. He had struggled using his tools.

It’s a little beast. 5 STAR
I’m a contractor in Michigan. I have used many demo bars over the years to tear out hardwood floors. This bar is great for that. I work on my knees (with knee pads) due to the handle length. (They sell one longer)I weigh 160 lbs and tore up 1200 sqft of hardwood flooring in 6hrs. Work it right and it’s a beast

Well built tool with a design flaw.
This pry bar is made in USA and looks to be well put together with good quality welds and even a reinforcement strap welded on the top to help prevent bending or cracking when apply significant force to the bar. Paint was a little chipped on arrival but not a big deal. My only complaint really is how blunt the edge is. Its completely flat (about 1/8") on the tip so slipping it under things like carpet tack strips or deck planking will prove difficult. I am certain this was done to prevent chipping the edge off when using it to pry up things like rocks or extremely heavy items. But the nail pulling notch in the center suggests this tool is made for prying up nailed down wood for the most part so making it so blunt defeats that purpose. I have used several brands of this style of pry bar in the past and this one is by far the most blunt I have seen. I suspect a little work with a hand grinder will be needed to optimize the tool for wood removal.

Awesome Tool!
My husband ordered this after we struggled to rip out several layers of linoleum and chipboard from our kitchen floor. While it was still a hard job, this tool made it so much easier to pry things up. We are very pleased with our purchase and will most likely be purchasing some of the other sizes available for other projects. Great quality, very durable and strong and looks exactly as pictured.
