Great Space Saver from a Great Vendor
Works great, this will create additional space for handguns in most safes. If your ALL of your long gun collection comes right up to the bottom shelf, it might not work out for you. In my case I've got some very long guns, and a fair number of carbine length long guns. The handguns hang very nicely directly above the carbines in space that I would not otherwise use.The package says first 5/8" and thicker shelves. Mine run around 1/2" and and the clips are indeed a bit looser than I'd like. They still hold securely, but then have an increased tendency to pull out of the safe with the gun unless I also shim with a bit of cardboard, felt, or fabric. Not a problem, but something to be aware of if you've got a thinner shelf like I do.The package states these hangers work for guns that are 10" or less over all length, and this is also true. Larger guns will not allow my door to close. If your shelves end further from the door, you might get a bit larger gun, closer shelves might limit you to a slightly smaller handgun. There are two versions, this one, which fits .22 and larger guns, and an older one that fits .32 and larger. I only see the .22 sized ones now, and they do work fine with .22. You want the ones from "Gun Storage Solutions".That last bit bears repeating. "You want the ones from Gun Storage Solutions".I tested a 500 S&W (5" barrel) and a GP100 (6" barrel) on these. One works, especially for the GP100. Two fit in the barrel of the 500S&W. While1 seemed like it would have held, 2 left no question and provided the rock solid feel I preferred. The 6" Ruger revolver would not allow the door to close, but the 5" 500 would allow the door to close. The biggest down side I see is that they are made in China. All of them, from all the vendors seem to be made in China. These are basically just spray on vinyl over a steel wire, and you'll see a mark on every one where it hung on a rack or a while while being sprayed. It doesn't seem to hurt anything.

Perfect space saver for your safe, and great way to store the gun
I've been looking at this item for some time - on a couple of different websites. Amazon had the best price (by a few bucks) so I purchased them here (I prefer to buy from Amazon when possible for almost everything). One initial thought is that these are a bit expensive for what they are... at about $5 each for a piece of wire, pre-bent and vinyl coated... but then again - they make them and I don't. They should profit from a good idea, and I like the design and simplicity. These hangers are great for freeing up space in your gun safe by allowing you to hang four handguns from a shelf. You could easily buy a second package of these and hang even more. The packaging suggests that you can use these rods for .22 caliber, but I personally would not try that. The rod is very close to that size and it's just a little too snug for my liking. It is also not recommended for anything over 10" in length, so if you have a monster revolver with an 8" barrel you should use caution. I think the weight of that size gun might be too much. The portion of the rod that goes into the barrel is only about 4 or 5 inches long. But for standard, compact, and sub-compacts, these are great! I have a couple of very heavy all stainless steel full frame guns hanging from these rods - and they support them perfectly.Another thing I like about storing the guns on these hangers is that the gun is in a horizontal position. If you use light oil to lubricate your guns after cleaning - this keeps that oil from running end-to-end or side-to-side during storage.UPDATE: After a suggestion from the manufacturer, I did a couple of tests with .22's. The key to hanging the .22 is to be sure the rod is going in and coming out straight. This might require adjusting the angle of the rod (they are quite easy to bend and adjust for angle) for some guns, but it works fine. I would still suggest that one use some caution when inserting/removing with at .22 to allow the rod to move as straight as possible.I will also add that it is very refreshing to see American Made products that perform well and are well concieved. The folks at Gun Storage Solutions really seem to take interest in how their products are performing in the field. I wish they offered their kickstand in a one or two pack. ;-)UPDATE #2: I have since ordered 4 more of these hangers, and when I need more I will order more. I consider these a necessity now in my safe.

Looks good and solved my problem.
They are sturdy and solved the issue I had since my safe's shelf is only 8" most of the available 9-10" options weren't suitable. These work well and hook on from the back, saving space in the front of the shelf. They bend easily and the instructions actually say to do this for a better grip on thinner shelves, and to level larger handguns.I notice a very slight droop when hanging my Beretta PX4 with a loaded mag (10 rounds in mag, empty chamber). This gun weighs 27.7 oz unloaded. I bent the hanger already and have room to bend further if needed.I'll edit the review if needed. For now the products are sturdy and solved my problem.

They work great
They work great. I bent 2 of the brackets a little tighter because they slide over an opening in my safe. Those two are on the far right in my pic. The guns in the pic from last to right are a Norinco NP29(9mm), Sig Sauer Mosquito(.22lr), Chinese Type 54/TT-33(7.62x25) and a Glock 17(9mm). I plan on buying a second set for my other pistols/revolvers.

Best thing there is to store handguns
I have 8 of those. I store all my handguns with them, except my desert eagle, which is bigger and heavier than some rifles. It works perfectly for small 22lr, long target pistol (7.5'' barrel browning), heavy revolvers (6'' barrel GP100) and normal, average, run-of the mill 9mm pistols, steel or polymer (CZ, Glock, 1911, etc...)The shape of this one is much better than the other models. The one that's kind of "Z" shaped doesn't work for long barrels like target pistols. With this model, I can hang 8 pistols under the shelf of my safe, which is about 16'' wide. Could probably hand more then that if I removed the trigger locks on the triggers, that's what takes so much space.A+ for this product.

Great for storage
Great product. Sits nicely below my top shelf and I have three 9mm and one .45 holds them very well. Would definitely buy more for organization and ease.

Perfect for a tight safe with shelves.
Works excellent on large caliber handguns. 9mm and .45 have no issues at all. Perfect price in my opinion.Doesn't work on any pellet gun sizes which still matters in larger gun safes. I still don't want to just leave them laying on a shelf.
