Great Educational Toy
My daughter is 14 months old and she absolutely loves this toy. Whenever she wakes up from sleeping for the night or from a nap, she immediately points to Pedro and wants to play with him. We purchased it for her when she was a bit younger; she liked the colors and shapes immediately, but as she has grown, she has really started to recognize the different ways the toys can be used. For instance, placing the feathers back into their slots, recognizing their colors, etc. It's fun and engaging all the while encouraging fine motor skills and critical thinking. Great purchase.

Cute Fine Motor Practice, No Storage
This is a super cute peacock/turkey and great for fine motor practice and color recognition. We also love that the feathers are all different textures or shapes. They each have an imprinted shape and number on them as well. These shapes and numbers are small though and don’t seem to be the focus of the toy. Some of the feathers fit more tightly into the holes on the back. They all fit in all the holes though. My 20 month-old can put them in on her own. She loves to chew on the feathers. She’s never put one entirely in her mouth though. I can see some people not wanting their kids to put them in their mouths at all, but we watch her with them. She also tends to lose the feathers throughout the house, so I wish the peacock had a storage hatch in the back so you could keep them inside. Oh well, it’s been a good toy anyway. My little is going through a bird phase, so she loves him.I probably wouldn’t give this as a gift just because there are so many cuter options with better storage solutions and more playability in different scenarios. But it’s cute for what it is and pretty durable! It’s great for fine motor practice as well. It was fun to watch my little girl go from just pulling the feathers out to being able to put them in on her own and say some of the color names.

Great for fine motor & travel!
We love this toy! Both my toddler and preschooler love this toy. It’s very colorful and perfect for little hands. My son’s therapist also loves it for fine motor practice. The size is great for travel as well. It’s easy to tuck into a diaper bag and play with at a restaurant. It’s also really easy to clean!

I use this in my infant classroom up here in the North 🇨🇦 And they really enjoy it! It is great for learning and development! I love Learning Resources we have a lot of their products!

Not perfect, wouldn’t buy again.
Cute toy, good concept but the “feathers” are not hard enough, they are squishy. If my son were to chew on them they would be destroyed. And some of them are hard to pull out and get stuck.

Perfect Quiet Toy to Take Places
I'm always looking for small, quiet, and engaging toys I can pack to take with us to church, restaurants, etc. This toy is perfect for that! It has a few minimal pieces that young kids can take in and out. You can use the "feathers" to practice colors or numbers. It is small enough to easily take with you in a diaper bag or purse.

Simple and fun
My 20 month old went straight to work as soon as I opened this little toy. She knew exactly what to do and it held her attention long enough to remove the feathers and put them back in about 3 times in a row. It's very simple, the feathers are easy enough for a toddler to remove on their own, and the quality is very nice. All in all, it's great and we're enjoying it! My 4 year old swears up and down that it's a turkey and not a peacock, but it's really cute either way!

Kind of disappointed.
As a teacher and a mom to a young daughter, I am a huge fan of learning resources. I’ve bought many items for my classroom and I’ve never been disappointed.I bought this particular toy before traveling with my daughter because of the small size. But I was quite disappointed when it arrived. It feels cheaply made, and the plastic is very thin and light. The feathers that you are supposed to place in the bird don’t fit very nicely and overall, I just don’t think it was worth the money.
