I ordered this product recently because my earring holes were closing up, so I pushed my original piercing studs through the holes and are letting them re-heal. About 4 days into the process, the backs of my ears were raw, crusty, and infected. I realized the backs of my original piercing earrings must not be real gold, like my posts! I was shocked - and looked for surgical steel backs to ensure I would not have the same issue and so my ears could heal. I ordered these - Once I put them on, my ears were healed in just a few days. I have had no issues since, like I did with my other backs. THANK you for selling a legitimate product. Very happy with my purchase!

I have been using one of these earring backs daily for several months. As soon as there was green oxidation on one I should have known... The "steel" has completely worn away leaving copper underneath. My little ear is completely irritated, as I cannot wear low quality metals for long periods of time. For a quick fix these are fine, but beware.They also fit VERY tightly onto all of my earrings, and require a decent amount of force to get on and off.

These earring backs fit several of my post earrings very well! No more swapping out my 1 set of "good" earring backs every time I wanted to wear different earrings. The opening is small, as other reviewers have commented, however fitting onto a post snuggly is not a bad thing in my mind! Can't comment on their longevity since I've only had them for a few weeks. Did I need 25 sets? Probably not. But hey, at this rate, if I happen to lose one, or the butterfly part gets twisted or stretched out and can no longer fit tightly onto an earring, no harm, I have plenty more to cycle through as replacements! If I ever find myself needing more silver earring backs, I'll certainly return and buy another set.

I’ve been wearing these non-stop for about a month on my sensitive ears and have experienced no issues such as redness or dry skin. It’s wonderful to be able to replace all the missing backs for my studs! Some reviews mention the hole is small; it is nice and tight but will definitely work with standard stud earrings - no problems there! I would definitely recommend.

I bought these to try because I normally have allergic reactions to most earring back, even if the earring itself is real. So far, I have not had any allergic reactions to this product and have been wearing for over one week on all 4 of my earrings. The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the hole on these backs is a little small.. I have a couple of earrings these do not fit. But, I usually wear the same 4 earrings 24/7 so for that, these are working well. I recommend!

If you are bothered, like me, with a sensitivity to nickel, invest in these surgical stainless steel backs. They are universal sized to fit most posts, large enough that you can actually grasp them (not those tiny backs that fumble your fingers), and do not make your lobes swell, redden, and itch. And with fifty in a pack, you can always find a pair when you need them.

The holes are way too small and didn’t work with any of the earrings I wanted to use them with. Only work with thin wire earrings...check the dimensions before you order because apparently there are NOT eligible for return which I did not see mentioned in the posting. I’ve never ordered anything from Amazon that wasn’t returnable. Not a huge investment but annoying since I can’t use them.

These fit all my earrings. Some of my earrings have a thicker bar than others but you just have to use a little force to push the earring through. They are comfortable and I have slept with them on and had no problems. I was worried because many of the reviews mentioned that they didn't fit their earring but I had no issues and you can't beat that price!
