Great for Sleep and Travel – Comfortable and Quiet
I’ve been using the Hearprotek USB-C sleep earbuds for about a week, mainly for sleep and air travel, and they’ve been a solid choice. The silicone tips are super soft and comfortable – they don’t press hard against my ears when lying on my side, which is a major plus for sleep buds. The noise isolation is surprisingly effective at blocking out ambient noise like fans, snoring, or plane engines. The included mic and volume control are a nice touch, though I primarily use them for audio. Sound quality is decent – not audiophile-level, but clean enough for podcasts or white noise. The USB-C connection works well with Android devices, and I haven’t experienced any connectivity issues.Only minor drawback: the bass is a bit flat, so music lacks depth. But for the price and purpose (sleep, relaxation, light travel use), it’s worth it. The carrying case is compact and handy too.

Super surprising in every way
First off, I never even realized that there were as many of these "sleep buds" as I'm now seeing. I was looking for Bluetooth headphones of the same ilk, and the closest I've come were a headband style. And in terms of comfort, those are okay-ish...but nowhere in the same league as the ones I'm reviewing right now. That said, my initial thought, when seeing that all of these sleep style buds are wired, was that of disappointment. But for the price, it makes total sense and isn't a surprise. To the actual review, short and to the point:1. Comfort: Perhaps one of, if not THE most comfortable in ear buds wired OR wireless, ever. Seriously. Usually I loathe silicone tips, but these are a serious exception. The driver is in an incredibly short and narrow and soft silicone housing. Being short and narrow is the key to not killing your ears when on your side. The soft and very flexible silicone is what lends itself to not giving your ears fatigue for long listening stints.2. Sound Quality: I was sort of expecting the type of sound Quality you'd get from the plastic tube headphones on airplanes back in the 80's. But what I hear is more akin to fairly decent Bluetooth headphones in the $40 range. They sound like a few pairs that I own for sure. So...very nice surprise. They won't win any awards for detail or soundstage, but in a pinch, they're quite good.I bought these for podcasts and ASMR though, and in that context, they're killer. They sound MUCH better than some Bluetooth buds in that regard. Also, the noise isolation is fantastic. But... It also relates to the one downside I can think of....Cons: If I had to come up with one negative (which I've found a solution to), it would be cable microphonics. Because the noise isolation is so great, you can hear a lot of noise when the cables move. These are microphonics. There's an easy fix for that though... Just take the cable and loop it over your ear. Done. Almost zero noise now. The only thing that would make these better is if they had a cable tassel attached, so that you could keep the cables taught near your chin.Oh...The controls. They are perfect. Big enough buttons to feel each one and the whole thing is very light weight so as not to be uncomfortable or awkward.I'll probably get another pair or two (might try a different brand too) just in case.Last word:. I've fallen asleep wearing these a few times now, and cannot recommend these highly enough.

Silicon tips, volume control
These earbuds do have volume control, which is what I was looking for. However, because of the silicone tips, I experienced the occlusion effect—hearing my own heartbeat and internal sounds—which was just as distracting as the noise I wanted to block out. I bought them specifically for sleeping, so I'll need to return them. That said, the sound quality is decent for the price—nothing grand, but good enough. On the positive side, the earbuds are soft and comfortable in the ears.

Comfortable for sleep
These are very comfortable for sleeping. My husband uses them every night. The cords eventually break - but he tosses and turns and pulls on them. Easy enough to buy a new set every two years or so

Fantastic Product for Side Sleepers!
I am madly in love with a terrible snorer. I am also very sensitive to noises when I sleep, so this has made sleeping pretty miserable.I have tried every in the ear noise blocker on the market (foam, plastic, canal conforming, etc), but all of them either fit poorly, fail to effectively block noise, stick out too far to comfortably side sleep or irritate my ear canal.Sleeping with white noise or sleep meditation apps has been fantastic, but all the complaints I had about hearing protection products was even worse when trying to find actual earbuds to sleep in!I bought these on a lark, largely based on good reviews. I've gotta say, the good reviews are very well-earned!The sound quality is pretty piss poor -- you should not expect these to replace your Bose or Beats. But the sound quality is perfectly sufficient to play sleep meditations or white noise to help drown out annoying partners! Most importantly: these are comfy! The plastic shroud that goes into the ear canal is very soft and squishy and does not irritate my "earhole" skin the way foam nubbins do. They are also flexible, so they fit perfectly into my very small ear canal while providing pretty impressive sound blocking. There are no external projections that pop out or apply pressure when side sleeping.

Been using for 5 years but…
I’ve been using these nightly for almost 5 years, for about 30-60 minutes every night. Yes they are comfortable and easy to sleep with (that’s all I do with them), but I just had to order my 5th set because they just don’t last. Each order comes with 2 pairs, which means 8 pairs of these earbuds have stopped working for me. But there is nothing else out there like this product, so I will continue to begrudgingly replace them every few months. I keep them on my nightstand, I don’t ever put them in my purse, pull on them, etc. I use them for less than an hour per day, but they stop working after maybe 8 months? Crappy product.
