Very convenient and so easy to pack
I recently went to Vegas and stayed at the beautiful Fontainebleau. It was top notch. The room had a cooling drawer built into the credenza in the room ( basically a fridge in a drawer). I have trouble staying hydrated in Vegas due to altitude and arid conditions. These water bottles were a godsend. I didnโt buy water once in Vegas because I would refill my carry bottle from these that were left filled and chilled. They fold flat, about the thickness of a few pieces of paper. Lightweight and the reinforced plastic with the d ring made toting easy. I loved how the bottom expanded once filled so the bottle then stood upright, although I never had a leakage issue if laid on side. I recommend without hesitation. The sellers I used were very fast. Pleased beyond with service and product.

Great for traveling
Pros: - The bottle part is really great. No leaking from the body or the top - Convenient for traveling. Hook it to a bag or belt, drink the water, roll it up and stash away when empty - I like the strong hole at the top to hook a carabiner to Cons: - The carabiners that come with it are cheap and break easily - The plastic that holds the cap over the mouth piece is pretty weak and can break pretty easily

Plastic taste
Used for hiking the narrows, they are ok. Have a plastic taste but good to use as an ice pack or maybe emergency water when ice melts

RELIABLE STURDY - GOOD BUY
It's a collapsable water bottle and seems to be about the best. Sturdy, reliable no leaks (I test them and if it leaks I seat the lid properly) I tried both boiling and freezing and had no problems. If the bag is too full and freezes the expansion could rupture anything, though. I poured boiling water into two of them and put pressure on them and nothing gave way and there was no distortion. The seams are very thick and sturdy - I used a hot nail to put a hole in the ample bottom seam for the carabiner so I could hang it upside down to gravity feed the large Sawyer filter. No leaks here. It has the same threads as a soda bottle and the Sawyer filters. The cap is a common, quick open-close drinking top but will not interchange with the similar drinking cap on the large Sawyer filter as this one is much deeper. This bottle fits and seals nicely with the input (dirty water side) of the Sawyer filters and with the Sawyer Coupler (SP150) to attach to the output (clean water side) of the large Sawyer filter. On the output, squeeze the air out of the bag then attach and it will gravity feed and automatically shut off when full. You can't hold these flexible bags like a plastic bottle and trying to fill while holding just the small opening is awkward and relatively slow. The handle is a big plus for hanging on backpack, cooking space or tent or for hand carry and dispensing. Also to hold and secure when filling (don't want to see it floating away) Having an aid for filling would be good in some cases. I use my tall 24 ounce cooking pot with a string harness to collect water from ponds or streams without having to bend or stoop.

Great pouch
These pouches were only bought so I wouldn't have to bring a 1 gal jug of milk/OJ with me camping. From beginning to clean up I was happy with these. I was able to fill the pouch with and without a funnel with no mess because of how wide the spout opening was. I liked that the pouches had the handle where a clip can go so everyone could just pick a pouch and drink from it instead of having to pull out a mess kit cup every time they wanted a drink. The cap feature was also a great plus because it snaps onto the pull spout and the cap was attached by a ring that you would really have to work it to get it off the pouch. The clip feature also helps with room when storing it, the pouch fits perfectly inside the clip. We did drop the pouch and was very happy when the pouch didn't explode. Stands up by itself great and even better when filled. Clean up was easy, with the spout inside Dia being a little bigger than 7/8" I am able to put a tissue on a dowel to complete dry the inside. Instead of taking the normal 1 gal milk jug I took 2 of these pouches and had so much more room in my cooler. All in all I was very happy with this purchase and will be ordering 2 more set to replace a smaller pouch set I had purchased to try out for the same reason why this was bought.

Cheap plastic
Very cheap product. Plastic was thin and folded and cracked. Water leaked out in several spots. I returned them for a refund.

I was able to roll it up nicely without taking up too much space
After receiving this product for an overnight backpacking trip through the NCT I was excited that they where collapsible and light weight after consumption of the water content, I was able to roll it up nicely without taking up too much space. . The quality of the material seems to be durable and the added carbineer is a plus while the handle is thick and I was able to hang the bag off the side of my bag without worry of it ripping or breaking. The only problem that I had come across was the screwing on the cap, was difficult to get a good seal on it. if I was to casually screw on the cap, it would leak if tipped upside down, not sure if the threads where crossed, but I had to really try and get a good seal for it to not leak. Other than that, the water in the container did not taste like plastic, and another plus is the fact that I can fit my Sawyer water filtration on it for clean consumption of water if needed. I would recommend this product to anyone who asks what collapsible canteens to go with.

Great price, great product Gets the job done!
I'm an avid hiker and backpacker and have been a loyal Platypus water bottle fan for years but I've always had one complaint about the Platypus water bottle - it often starts to lean over the side mesh compartment of my pack and there have been numerous times I've almost lost my water bottle because it worked its way out of the mesh compartment. I found these Survivor water bottles on Amazon and was interested for several reasons - 1) had the clip and handle that I could use to fasten to my pack so it wouldn't fall over, 2) the lid is a standard sized lid so if I lose it, I can use pretty much any water bottle lid to replace it, 3) my Sawyer water filter fits on these bottles, and finally 4) the price was much better than the Platypus. So far these have held up well and I plan to use them a lot. If they don't perform to my expectations of the Platypus, I update my review, but so far, I'm pleased!
