What's the length of the index or middle finger (measuring just the finger length, please) for the Large and Extra large? Thanks very much.

I have long fingers and these gloves were a xlarge if im correct and they were snug, 4.5 inches index and middle finger length

Does these gloves keep your fingeetips warm and if they for how long?

These gloves do keep hands quite warm. My hands get cold fast and I wore these for a scouting trip last February. The outside temperature was 5 degrees with a wind chill at -1 and 9" snow on the ground. Over 3 days we were out in this weather and only during the early morning, before putting gloves on- did hands get cold. Did use wand warmer in gloves for initial use, but after that they were warm all day.
