Arrived in the nick of time!
I've been remodeling a vintage trailer and after a light rain I realized that the roof seams were leaking badly. The rain stopped but the forecast was for severe storms at the end of the week so I ordered several rolls of this hoping it would arrive before the rain. 20' rolls of this tape from another brand are $20 at the big box stores so I bought several of those to keep on hand in case this tape didn't get here in time (I returned those unopened. ) The tape arrived as giant clouds were ominously peaking over the mountains, but I climbed up to the roof and managed to run tape over every seam just before the rain started. The tape did it's job and held back the water. It's amazingly sticky so you have to be careful to place where you want it because pulling it back up is a challenge. It's also important to clean the area because if the surface is dirty the tape will stick to the dirt and diminish adhesion. And, yes, I am going to replace the seams and seal the roof properly when I have time (or better, build a roof-over since the trailer is in a permanent location,) but for now this tape is holding back the water. The interesting thing will be to see how it holds up in 120 degree summer heat here in the desert. I'll update if it loses adhesion, cracks or peels in the powerful sun.

Great sealer tape!! UPDATED...
This repair tape is nothing but badass...It is very, very sticky. Adhesion is very strong. If you use latex gloves, expect the tackiness of this product to stick to the glove or tear the fingertips off. Sets quickly and evens itself out in a few minutes. Works really well if you follow the directions. I cleaned the old silicone off, lightly sanded, then cleaned with acetone.(aluminum enclosed trailer) sticks instantly so be careful...UPDATE:Tape was said to be permanent, after one year, one side of the sealant tape is delaminating. I hope it lasts a bit longer because It appears to be alot of work to remove and replace.

Very strong glue tough outer layer
I got this because it is significantly cheaper than major brand names of similar material. It is very thick and don't expect to move it or get it off once you put it on! It has a tough outer layer and a really thick layer of goop behind it. The only problem I had was the high temperatures here in Arizona caused it to buckle prior to use. It is not the easiest stuff to use because it is so goopy but it will really do the job. I did not use it on a roof but mainly for patching along the bottom of the trailer and along the side seams.

.Great waterproofing
The state is great for waterproofing on top of the motorhome, just a little tricky because it is so sticky.

Easy-off backing
Good product , easily applied. Backing comes off clean.Used Beechlane recently , overglued backing tore offunevenly. 2 years later the sun dried out the glue. Now Ihave to replace it all , scrape off dried glue and replace .

Does not last long in extreme temps like Arizona
This appeared to be a great product at 1st. It was very sticky and went on very well and it seemed like it was going to be better than the original roofing material. After one summer this stuff started peeling/lifting around the edges and the material itself has dried up and just flakes off like dried flour dough left on the counter. I am going to have to try something new. Put almost one whole roll on my roof and what a waste of time. Now I have to clean it all off to try something new.

Works very well
Good thing we bought this as we developed a leak while closing our trailer for the winter. Dried the area and used this tape then blow dried because it was so cold today. Works like a charm.

Great product
Sealed the seams on our sunroom that have been leaking for awhile. Tried other products with no lasting success. This is did the job and sealed the seams and no more leaks…period.

Great product
Used it to waterproof a leaky 1999 Camper trailer roof. I just used it just this year, but it seems quite strong and resistant to water. It has kept an extremely rainy downpour out so far and some lighter rainfalls. I put it all around the edges and around all the vents and around the air conditioning unit. So easy to use. Great product.

RV roof tape - great product
This product works extremely well. It was proven as a large thunderstorm hit our city the day after install and no water entered my RV after replacing two vents and sealing them up with the roof tape.
