I added it to a formal gown! I had my alterations person sew it on and then I ironed it on, as well, when I took my gown home to make sure it would remain flat. Really nice shine and sparkle. The belt is not too thick and the rhinestones aren't too big, it's just the right size for any formal gown (I think). Goes great on a formal gown, bridal dress, and/or bridesmaids dresses. I got the belt with the rose gold backing for the rhinestones and it is true rose gold color! Does come with 2 satin ribbon belts (white and ivory) but I didn't use either.
