All appeared well to begin with. Fit was fine and wrist pad did its job to prevent a strain after a fall. After a few uses however some of the pads already started looking a bit tatty. Eventually, after no more than 10 uses I noticed one of the knee pads was completely ripped open (see photo). I never fell on my knees, and the pads were stored neatly every time in their carry pouch. To give context these pads are only 15 days old! Can’t use the knee pad now with any confidence, and I believe it’s only a matter of time before the others going the same way. I have asked for a refund.

Great pads. I bought these because I’m having a mid-life crisis and have taken up roller skating. I would say the sizing is a little off. I am162cm tall and weigh 57kgs, would consider myself a “small woman”. I purchased large, the elbow and knee pads are a snug fit on bare arms, and tight over clothes (would definitely be too tight if I was any larger!), but the wrist guards and helmet are slightly on the large side for me. All in all I’m glad I chose the large size because I think the medium elbow and knee pads would be far too tight. It’s well priced PPE and they have kept me unbroken so far (and I’ve fallen a lot!).

Choosing the size is not very transparent - only S and L were available and the descriptions in the picture talks about child/adult sizes. I figured L was the adult size and went for it; I must say it fits ok and I am a very small adult, so I would not recommend for someone big. Overall it seems a good product (I haven't yet fallen over with them on, so I wouldn't be able to tell how resistant they are). Remember to buy a helmet along with these.

Bought these for my 26 year old girlfriend after she bought some roller skates from a 14yr old. She’s gotten a lot better now she’s not scared to take a tumble, which is great because she bruises like a peach.

Really good protection pads which fit over my 6 year olds clothes fine. Would imagine they'd fit teenagers too but next to their skin.

These pads look and feel incredible for the money, haven't had the chance to try them yet as I'm still waiting for my knees to recover from the fall I had before I ordered them, doh!!

They come in a neat little bag for storing and they seem like good sturdy pads. My daughter hasn't fallen over in them yet, but I feel reasonably confident that they will at least break the fall and stop her from mashing her knees up. She is a modestly tall, averagely built 14 year old (size 10 approx) and "large" size fits her generously without slipping about, so I'm not sure they would be suitable for a more muscly or sturdily built adult, but good for her size.

These are great since they are fitted and are secure around the knees and elbows. Surprisingly the wrist guards are also the most comfortable I’ve ever owned and I’ve owned quite a few in my time. Comes in a nice carry bag to store them in.
