2 years ago our 80 pound poodle discovered our turtles coming out of hibernation. For years every time we would find a turtle on the highway alive we would bring it home and deposit it in our backyard so we had quite a few turtles through the years and all of a sudden this year our poodle decided he would just bring them to us. Three of them lived one iffy, and one died so in memorial to the fallen turtles we have started purchasing small turtles about their size and putting them in our backyard.!They are not easy to find3 have come from Amazon
