No lift, just and 12v impact driver and some basic hand tools. I used a band saw to trim the mid pipe. Mounting the driver side hanger was confusing and I’m not sure if I did it right. But it looks like it will hold. As for the quality, it’s pretty top notch, especially for the price. Review: Get your Lions Share of Roar with this great Stainless Steel Exhaust System. - This was installed on a 2016 F-150 with a 5.0 engine. I could not be happier with this exhaust system that is reasonably priced and made from high-quality material. I have not received any compensation of any form in exchange for this review. I bought it for full-price and installed it on my personal truck. The system was shipped quickly and was delivered before the promised date. It was packed fairly well to prevent damage. Components all looked good when unwrapped and pass the magnetic test for the respective Stainless steels. Muffler and tips have very weak magnetic attraction just as they should. Installation was simple even though no instructions are included. The head pipe that connects to the existing cat worked as-is for a Supercab with a 6' 5" bed. An extra length with clamps is provided for long bed applications. Provided clamps etc all worked great with no issues. The system sounds amazing, as you can see from the picture, the mufflers insides is not a chambered model like Flowmasters and some others, this one is a straight though glass pack. Muffler sounds solid if you knock on it. The aggravate the neighbour rating is about a 5 on a 1 to 10. It is not as loud as you would think until you get on it hard. When you do get on it hard this thing Roars! Otherwise, It just has a nice deep rumble with no decel popping and no in-cab droning to speak of. Cruising at 75 normal voices can be used to talk. Note: My truck is a Lariet which has upgraded sound insulation from the XL's so your results may vary. A word about the seller. My box had been opened during shipping at some point and it arrived with terminal tape where someone from a trucking company had retaped the box. One of the tips was missing and I made the shipper aware of it late Saturday night. Seller responded almost immediately and followed up the next two days and resolved it with a new tip being shipped.
