Great Gloves AND how to use them to cut Perfect Chicken Breast for Piccatta
I like to cook Chicken Picaata and to cut the Chicken Breast thin and consistently you have to wear these ... or risk cutting your hands. Btw, a little-know trick for cutting your Chicken Breast very thin and consistently is to also buy some thin (about 3/16") stainless steel drinking straws. Place one straw on either side of your Chicken Breast on your Cutting Board and then carefully slide that sharper-than-scarry through it. The result will be precisely thick Chicken Filets cut attractively for your Chicken Picatta. And to make it a bit better, place the "skin side" of the Chicken facing down when you do it. That way only the inside of the Breast will be the last/ragged cut. I typically get at least 3 beautiful slices out of each Chicken Breast. And I have NEVER seen this trick discussed. But use those Steel Gloves or your hands will be part of the meal!

Protected my hand from a scraper
I use this glove primarily for when I'm trying to remove 3D prints from the print bed. I was very frequently stabbing my hand when the print released and my hand was on the opposite side for leverage (I'm a slow learner) or slamming the hand with the scraper into the side of the bed and cutting it that way. My son has started using my 3D printers. I didn't want him to get hurt like that, so we started looking for solutions. We started with a pair of cut resistant gloves of a lower grade. I was testing them on the printer, and I still cut my hand. I ordered these next. Despite intentionally putting my hand where it would get hit by the scraper and making pretty hard/fast contact, the glove prevented the cut. I was very pleased. My son is autistic. He doesn't have fantastic fine motor skills. Seeing my hand survive what would normally cause an injury gave him confidence in the glove, and he's now wearing it to try to improve his cooking/cutting skills. Though I took measurements and used the sizing guide, I find the glove a bit short, and the strap hits in an awkward spot. It's most noticeable when I'm trying to grip an item or use my gloved hand as a leverage point on the print bed. It's uncomfortable, but it doesn't seem to affect functionality. I may order another in a size up. I'd like one to leave in the drawer with my mandolin slicer, and I was very pleased with the first purchase.

Works but hard to clean
This works really well, but it's a pain to clean. I have to use a bristle brush and I sometimes feel like I'm pushing food, like cheese, down inside of the glove. I think it's still sanitary, but I wash it with Dawn under freakishly hot water. As far as protecting my hand, it's perfect.

well worth the money
had to clean 35 fish this weekend. rarely does ant fish slip from your hand. you can even grab the small fins to hold them while you cut them off and they don't slip from your fingers. this glove is great and the safety factor is built in. wish I would have bought one years ago. clean up is a snap, just hit it with garden hose. I don't even use the the liner glove or the strap and it stays on my hand

Decent
First, these gloves serve their purpose. They kept me from accidentally cutting myself several times while using them. They certainly do that job well. The fit was a little tight in a good way. For the bad, it is more of a fine wire strung together to make the mesh. While this keeps cuts to a minimum, it is a pain to clean. And I mean a pain to clean. For the first use we butchered hogs over a weekend. I have scrubbed, soaked, washed in the washing machine and repeated. Because the wire is so small you can’t get the chunks of fatty meat out. It’s not priced as a disposable glove but may have to become one if I can’t clean it well enough. When I read the description I was understanding the mesh was more of a chain mail. That is my fault for not understanding correctly but nonetheless a frustrating mistake. All in all it fits well, is comfortable, and keeps you from cutting yourself.

Note that you only get 1 glove per order
Second pair of these. They run small, so I got the XL size for my normal L hands. Last much longer than even the best leather gloves -- but they can be slippery on hard plastic tools.

when you wear both the cloth and metal glove and you have medium or larger hands, it will start to hurt.

I think these will do the job.

Just what I expected, well-made with a liner glove and a Ziploc storage bag. If you plan to wear the white liner glove inside to make it more comfortable on your hand, not that it is uncomfortable, order one size up. If not, or if one hand is smaller than the other, most are, all is good. Well I buy a second one, yes, but one size up.
