This rug (the 10ft x 14 ft green/blue colors-- is stunning and fresh and modern colors and the price was great. We have a big room but could never afford to get the 'bigger rug' because usually, once you go past a certain size , the price goes past our tax brackets. When I saw this one and the great deal it was, I took a chance. The colors are spot on as described. It's maybe a little richer and darker than pictured, but it depends on the light. It has changed our whole room to finally have a rug that is just the size it needs. It brings it all together and made such a drastic difference and created a cozy space with the greens. If you have plants in the room you have WON...this rug just is so nice with leaves and sunshine. LOVE IT. We already had a nice pad for our smaller rug and because it is not the thickest rug, it is nice to have the pad but not really needed if that ruins your budget to add a pad-then wait and see? Honestly love it. The light and dark oranges on the trim are very pretty and not too much. Also the splash of color is a great excuse to get in an argument with your husband about those new throw pillows you are going to sneak out and bring home soon haha.) In addition to the greens and blues, it has black, it has navy, and for the contrasting lighter areas of the rug it has a nice ombre of various grey and brown-grey going through the light areas --so if your couch is grey or beige it's going to work for you. Also- newsflash- if you have pets or kids that are going to spill on the rug, you won't see a thing and it will clean up like a dream and hide that dang dog hair until you are ready to vacuum. In addition to our beige couch we have a black leather chair and black fireplace, and dark grey and brown wood chairs in the room- the rug just brought the furniture together like we paid someone to help us. Anyhow, I don't usually ramble on like this, but this was such a steal, arrived earlier than expected (and we live in the boonies) and...I'll say it again, we just LOVE IT. Another gorgeous rug from Safavieh! As I had hoped, it has a lot of black and "greige" along with pops of bright color. Perfect for my rec loft which has lime green walls, black, gray and white furnishings, greige flooring, and curtains with pops of the same bright colors. This nice soft rug looks as though it was made especially for this room, and brings everything together perfectly. Love it! So happy! P.S: I'd like to offer advice to the ppl who rated the rug with one or two stars, who seem to have similar complaints and are, I think, unfairly blaming the manufacturer. 1) If your rug seems misshapen at first, or has weird bulges or an uneven shape, this will relax and self-correct over time as you walk on it. To speed up the process, pile stacks of books or other heavy objects on the bulges to flatten them out. 2) For the writer who complained that the rectangle shape was more like a parallelogram, the solution is to have 2 ppl-- one grabbing each diagonal corner, and pull diagonally, to stretch it into the correct shape. These rugs have a lot of potential stretchability, especially when warm, and it will work! And finally 3) As far as slippage goes, these are not like bath rugs which come with a no-slip backing that deteriorates over time and would ruin your wood floors! No one would want that! You are supposed to buy a pad for any rug, not just Safavieh brand, to increase the lifespan and comfort of your rug and to stop slippage (if you order a non-slip pad). You are supposed to trim the pad with scissors or a carpet knife so that it won't peek out and your rug edges will lie flat. I find that placing furniture on the rug with the pad also prevents slippage, even though my pad isn't labeled non-slip. Alternatively you can use small amounts of carpet tape at each corner. Hope this helps everyone!

For the price, it can't be beaten. I've purchased the "cream/blue" version of the rug twice for my living room over the past 6 years or so. I love light colored rugs, but I've never been able to keep them up with a busy household and working. Overall this rug has a "light color" look to it, but the pattern and various colors make the rug busy enough to hide dirt, spills, stains etc., but not overwhelming where it's too busy looking. My cat drags his nails across it like a scratching post and you can't even tell lol. It's low pile and easy to vacuum, wipe up spills etc. It's also affordable enough that when that final spill happens where you know it's time for the rug to go, you're not mad, you're excited to just get a new 8x10 rug for under $150. I love this rug and would highly recommend it to families with kids and pets who don't want to spend a lot of money because they know they will have to get rid of their rug at some point. I'd say it lasts on average about 3 years with kids, pets and high traffic, which to me is great for the price and look. It would definitely last longer with just adults in the house. I've never deep cleaned it or anything...vacuum like once a week and spot clean as needed. It's on the thinner side, but that's my preference with a busy household. I find thicker or higher pile rugs are too hard to keep up and clean up spills or dirt. I don't use a rug pad, but I might if I was putting it in my bedroom or den just for comfort. I just plant it under my furniture so it doesn't move. The only "con" I would mention, especially if you need a specific size for any reason, is that I ordered the 8x10 both times I purchased the rug, and each one was more like 9'6"x10'1." Sizing is definitely off, but that didn't prevent me from ordering the rug again. I guess you can look at reviews if you want exact sizing for a specific color.

This rug is SO pretty and of great quality! It's a little on the thinner side, but with a good padding underneath, it works great. Not too soft, and not too stiff - just right! And I love how it's multi colored - I can decorate my house with all the different types of seasons/holidays, and it matches perfectly with each setup! However, it is NOT true to the colors posted in the seller's images! It ever so slightly has a creamy tone too it, other than white/gray, and it's not as washed-out as their images seem. Plus, the PINK is really vibrant in this rug! I was not expecting that. I almost shipped it back, but I gave it a couple days, actually had other rugs in that were more gray/white/blue-ish... and I kept coming back to this rug. I really do like how I can decorate for Easter, Fall, Halloween, Christmas, etc., and the rug works with it all!!!! (I'm still not a huge fan of the PINK, but, after a while I don't see it that much.) Plus, with having the bookcases in the background, it really works well with all the different colors of the books. I tend to stick with one color scheme and be boring like that... so this was a nice change. Just remember, buy yourself a nice pad for underneath, and you'll be good to go! (Also - with the pad - make sure you cut it so the padding is within the rug, so you have a 3-4" edging all around so the rug can lay flat on the floor so it doesn't stick up on the padding.)

Received this about two weeks ago and we are very happy with the way it looks. Do yourself a favor and use the “In Room View” app and you will get a very good understanding of what it will look like in your home. I attached a few pictures (some look similar) and a video just to help you understand that colors might look a bit different depending on your device. But if you like the color palette you won’t be disappointed. In my opinion the price is excellent for an area rug of this size. It’s very well made, gives our living room a fresh new look and most importantly it is very user friendly as the pattern will be very forgiving. I also love that this more “traditional” pattern rug comes in multiple color choices giving lots of options to blend different design styles. As an artist I display a lot of my own work which is often more modern and colorful in our home. It’s important that it all works together harmoniously. By choosing this “turquoise/green” colored rug I was able to blend the modern and the traditional very easily. I have no doubt that any of my future paintings will look just a fabulous in this space with this beautiful rug. I love decorating and blending styles and I am thinking of getting another more earthy colored version of this rug for our new fusion Mid Century Modern looking bedroom. This is a gorgeous rug that works so well in our dining room. The smell dissipates in a day and it vacuums very easily - this was a must have in ordering a rug. I think the creases will all come out in time. The colors are true to the pictures. On hardwood floors, it does slide, but a rug pad and/or furniture on the rug keep it in place. I have another 9X12 SAFAVIEH and matching runner that have held up so well for at least 9 years.

This review is after a couple months of use. This is a good rug for the price point. It is soft enough to lay down on without the prickly feeling of some other rug offerings in this price range. There are a lot of colors in this rug which means it can tie into a variety of decor choices well. I cannot assess whether it would slip or not on a hard surface but atop other carpet, this rug holds its place and doesn’t have corners that fray or stick up. There was no odor with this rug and so the room smells neutral - just as it did before. I’d say this rug looks as good as it did on the day I first rolled it out into the space I have it in. This rug also washes easily and does not fade if spot treated with common household carpet cleaning products. Overall this is a winner - it’s sizable and functional - and if something ever happened to it, it’s affordable enough to replace without breaking the bank.

Great rug, perfect for small bathroom. Colors are as pictured. Not as soft as another one I purchased, but ordering a rug pad so that will help. I had a difficult time finding a good sized rug for a small area. Wanted a round rug but the 3’ round was too small and 4’ round was too big. The 3x3 square was just right!

Der Teppich ist optisch und von der Haptik wirklich sehr schön. Auch ist kein chemischer Geruch vorhanden. Er ist aber sehr rutschig, selbst unter einem schweren Tisch liegt er nicht gut. Deshalb besser gleich einen Rutschschutz mitbestellen. Die angegebenen Masse stimmen überhaupt nicht, der Teppich ist 117 x 180, nicht wie in der Produktbeschreibung angegeben 122 x 183. Ich behalte ihn trotzdem. Der zweite Teppich den ich bestellt habe, ging auch wegen falsch angegebener Grösse zurück. Leider ist es mit bisher nicht gelungen, dies zu reklamieren.

Teppich wie erwartet. Schöne Musterung. Hat sich gut gelegt nach nur 2 Stunden. Fühlt sich gut an.

This rug is great quality (came rolled, bit folded) and looks great. The colours are extremely close to the images and it doesn't require a rug pad. Highly recommend
