Twilight New Moon Prop Replica (Edwards Pre-Vampire Mason Ring)

First, let me say this ring must be a size 8, because I have very fat fingers and it fit! I was was banking on it being a pinky ring if I was lucky! It is BEAUTIFUL!!! I take it off if I am getting my hands wet, but I have worn it non-stop for 2 weeks and it's still perfect. No skin discoloration or signs of wearing. It's lightweight, almost if it's made of aluminum, and is an authentic early 1900's design. In fact, it looks much like my Grandfather's family ring that he gave me when I was young.I like the Cullen crest jewelry, but this ring is like my little Twilight secret... only real Twilight fans know what it is. LOL Even better, my husband doesn't mind me wearing it, as his name is Marshall! LOL

This is one of the more rare prop replica pieces available, so it is a must have for any collector. The ring is reasonably priced, and is well made. The detail of the 'M' and the signet/table of the ring is good quality. I purchased the ring purely as a collector item and have no intention of wearing the ring, however, I am a size 8 and the ring fits me perfectly. While it is a durable and wearable piece, because it is not made of a precious or semi-precious metal it likely would discolor if worn on a daily basis or regularly. I have a 14kt white gold, antique brushed signet ring with my initial in it, and this prop replical looks quite good next to it and the antiquing is similar, although the prop replica ring is a bit darker. Just for the record and so no one is confused, this is Edward's "Masen" ring and is not as the item name suggests a Mason or Masonic ring, but purely a family ring that was quite common in the time-period of Edward's human life, amongst upper middle-class and upper class families. For those that may be unfamiliar with Edward's human life and his human family, I'd highly suggest purchasing and reading Stephenie Meyer's Illustrated Guide to the 'Twilight' Saga, derived from her working notes, as they are quite detailed and it is a fantastic read for anyone that loves the novels and the films.

Ok this is not a toy to me. I love it and wear it everyday. My name is Melissa so it works out that it has an 'M' on it. While it is very simple I get tons of compliments on it and people are always asking me where they can buy one with their initals on it. This is always met with dissappointment unless their name begins with an 'M' of course. But like I said I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, it and it is a great addition to all my Twilight Saga jewlery.

I wish there were larger sizes than a size 6 to choose from. MOST women's fingers are bigger than 6. It fits tightly on my pinkie. I wouldn't buy it again if I had the chance because it looks very dark grey and not as attractive as it does in the picture.
