My daughter complained her automatic tailgate was not wanting to close on her 2014 Infiniti QX80. Looking at the car I noticed the struts were stiff and not allowing the tailgate to come down. Ordered these and had them replaced in 5 minutes. The automatic tailgate opens and closes as it should. Great value.

**update ..I just replaced the current ones with the replacement set I received today .. now it is actually worse .. .. I only have one side popping out the first time I installed it now both sides are popping off .. really disappointing ... I am going back to OEM ...The ends don't seem to have a very good quality since it pops out sometimes .. pressure seems decent but every so often I would need to push it back in since it feels a bit loose from OEM specs ...

The instructions are simple and make installation breeze. They are sturdy and have a lasting feel an design to them. So all in all pretty good quality. They surprised me when I got the installed. I opened my hood latch and they raised the hood on there own. I may have missed that in the advertisement but definitely made them worth their weight! I do recommend them!
