Great price, came quickly and an easy fix for my hot water heater. It’s been a good while now and hot water heater continues to do its thing!

I wasn't sure what was going to happen since it's almost double the wattage of the one I pulled out of there but it's working fine and keep some water nice and hot. Combine it with a new thermostat so I don't get scolded anymore either. Probably saving a couple dollars that way too

This fit into my 2000 mountain air suburban water tank just fine. Did not have any problem with installing. I had double checked the numbers on my old one and found this to be a good replacement.

I bought these elements as spares for my electric water heater in Mexico. They meet all the specs, and are easy to obtain, where as the elements in Mexico are harder to get, and are more expensive.

I'm using this on a home brew system to heat a 7 gallon HLT to 180 degrees. Works just fine on a standard 120 Volt 20 amp outlet. Water temperature started at 60 degrees and took an hour and a half to accomplish. During my timed test I did not have a lid on the HLT. Therefore, if the lid was in place, I would imaging the time would be cut by at least 15 minutes. Installing this on a stainless steel kettle is simple. You will need a 1 1/4" hole saw that is designed to be used on stainless. I purchased mine at Menards for $8.99 and a pilot bit for $3.97. Just read the carton to insure it can handle stainless. You will also need a round file to de-burr the opening. Purchase the silicone 211 O-ring, and stainless nut that everybody else recommends in their reviews. Tighten up the nut and wire it in. Make sure you use a cord rated for the wattage that is grounded. It is very important to use a ground on any metal container. If you don't ground the kettle you WILL be electrocuted if you touch the kettle while the element is plugged into an outlet. No I didn't use any controller. I just plugged it into an outlet.

Found that the heater element in the water heater on the used RV we recently purchased was burnt out. A bit of google research and a search on Amazon, ordered this one, along with a socket to fit. Replaced in a few minutes. Water heater will now work on electricity when needed.

El primer producto llegó con una falla, pero inmediatamente lo sustituyeron por uno en excelentes condiciones, que hasta la fecha no a fallado, quizá la primera sufrió un golpe o un mal manejo y se dañó por qué es una resistencia eléctrica muy frágil, debieron tratar con cuidado el paquete, sin embargo la atención y la calidad del producto es genial y funciona de maravilla mejor que la que tenia antes!!
