Why did I wait so long to purchase?
Works perfect with our 1 1/2 hp ditch irrigation pump and Orbit B-hyve controller. Totally automated irrigation system.

Pump Start Relay? No Problems!
This is the pump stop relay I chose for my irrigation system at my home. It was easy to install and it worked as advertised the first time I used it to run my pump through my irrigation timer. I recommend this product.

This replaced a semi functional new start switch. It has been viable for at least 1 year.

Works great controlling a drain valve
I needed a 24VAC controllable relay to automate a drain valve for my compressor. The drain valve only uses 120V so I only wired up one leg. It works great and was easy to install. The case is well designed and it looks like the relay is high quality. I also have a hunter relay controlling a 30A 240V air compressor and its just as nice but is overkill for this usage.

Works as it’s supposed to. Would do it again
Previous owner went Willy Nilly on the building and wiring and irrigation and when my pump stopped working I investigated to find the cover of the IPSR melted and some black scorching. Luckier than he11 to still have my little shop. Bought the same unit here and replaced. Fixed working issues in shop and she’s been running great ever since. I will say I like the Orbit control and relay but absolutely cannot stand their sprinklers. I’ve slowly changed them out with Hunter for the larger, and Rain Bird for smaller in the gardens, and it’s all coming around just fine.

Orbit relay pump
Relay worked perfect and it has a lot of room to tuck wires in the box, I thought it did not work at first but I realized that I had to bridge the common wire to the relay and it worked.

Working just fine!
I did alot of research before purchasing a pump start relay for my irrigation system. I have a Rachio 3 controller and hunter pgv 1in valves. This will work on that setup. If you have different brands of equipment just check your amperage and you'll be good. Hookup was simple and clear.
