I had my doubts when this huge heavy package arrived and I found it was all molded plastic. It was so heavy I had no choice but to cut the box apart and haul each piece out to the patio separately. The assembly directions are clear and concise, and all the parts are in separate bags. It's always a good idea to do a count of all pieces before beginning. I found that there were 2 extra screws of each size - that was nice. Be aware that not every piece is labeled with a part number, but assembly is pretty intuitive, even for a novice. It's better to assemble with two people to keep it steady. It seemed flimsy at first but after all the screws are in place it is pretty solid. It is heavy though and we wanted it moveable. There is no way to attach wheels so we bought two dollies from Home Depot and set the box on top of them. They are big enough to support the weight of the entire box and it's contents. . The assembled product is as nice looking as it is pictured on it's web page. With the Silver Travertine tiles we installed on the patio it blends right in with the color scheme. So far I put 6 chair cushions with backs, 10 beach towels, a big bag of pool toys, 2 pool noodles, face masks and other swimming gear and it is just 3/4 full!! I'm loving that there is no longer pool gear lying around in the outdoor kitchen area and that I can easily move the box on it's wheels when sweeping the patio.

I bought this deck box to match the other Keter storage bins that I already own and was not disappointed!The box is BIG and fit all of my miscellaneous deck and bird food items that were cluttering things up.Assembly was simple and straight forward. I would suggest using a power screw driver because there are about 40 screws required for assembly. The "hydraulic" lift assist hinges work well and really make a difference. The top is very sturdy and makes a great bench seat if you have a few extra guests over.There is also a 200 gallon size but the 150 was plenty big enough for me.

We needed to replace an old patio storage box that leaked in the rain and was too small for our needs. I spent hours looking for a storage box that appeared to be well built, would fit within our dimension limitations, would complement our patio furnishings and be reasonably priced. The Keter Denali 150 Gallon Resin Large Deck Box checked every requirement.I read the product reviews and found myself asking how many of the negative reviews were written by people with no assembly skills (box fell apart), lived on the planet Venus (the lid warped in the sun) or were submitted by their competitors. In spite of some of the questionably negative reviews, I decided to purchase the storage box anyway.Shipping was fast, packaging was excellent and the weight of the unit was acceptable. Upon the initial unpackaging, my first observations were that the panels were nicely finished & well engineered, the hardware was good quality and the assembly instructions were adequate. I was impressed that proper assembly required a lot of self-tapping screws to secure the base to the sides, the rim cap to the sides, the reinforcement rail to the lid, and of course, the hardware (hinge/strut assemblies & securing latch) to the box. Assembly took less than 20 minutes with a torque-limiting cordless screwdriver (DON'T OVER-TIGHTEN THE SCREWS as they will strip the plastic).Our Keter Denali 150 Gallon Resin Large Deck Box looks great, and comfortably contains all of our over-stuffed patio furniture cushions and two 5-gallon buckets containing smoker pellets. It has already experienced some heavy wind-driven rains without leaking or the lid opening (the locking latch works well!). Bottom line, I highly recommend the Keter Denali 150 Gallon Resin Large Deck Box.

This is a fab storage box! Only took 1 person a short time to assemble and it is really sturdy. We have bought cheaper ones before but they don't compare with this one.

OMG!!!! easy to put together, smartly made.... and I built it outside in that wintery weather ... with a covered roof I might add... DO NOT over torque the screws ,,, I was just common sense to me.. just saying. WANT it nice and tight put a thin weather stripping around the opening but only do it when it's warm and keep the lid locked as it will help the weather stripping stick in place.
