15 Pack Millenniata M-Disc BD-R 25GB 4X HD 1000 Year Permanent Data Archival/Backup Blank Media Recordable Disc

We have various old movie film formats from 1965 to 2009 that were not yet digitized. My Dad digitized his old 6 or 8 mm silent films frame by frame and saved them to memory cards, USB thumb drives and DVDs, then brought them to me to video edit.I had 4 1/2 hours of footage, so I split it into 2 1/4 hours per 25 GB BluRay disk. It's so much better than burning a stack of 6 DVDs for each famiy member.We use CyberLink PowerDirector film editing software to add "scenes" to the discs and music to the silent films. We produce the films in MPEG-2 to burn to the BluRay discs so we can watch them on our BluRay disc players with the TV.The only downside to these discs is the price, which seems high for blank disks without individual cases.
