(From 30 to 6000) I have not purchased these before and thought that the pads were not as advertised. I contacted the seller and questioned this. He was polite and assisted me in the possibility of returning the pads. Later I found from another person that it was the resin in the pads that covers the coarseness and that with the first use I would be able to see if there was a problem. I used them and found that they were fine and I polished out two stone plaques with ease. they are not the highest quality but work well and are of a fair price. I will buy these again when they need replacing.
