As a mailman, I walked 13 miles a day and mainlined on double Thorlo socks for over 30 years.Recently, I read the Thorlo review by someone who has worn them even longer than me.He is correct; the Thorlo socks I bought via Amazon are not of the same quality as those I used to buy at the uniform shop back in the 1980's.I hesitate to give these Fox River socks a 5 star rating for only one reason: I like them very much and do not wish the company to read good reviews and thus keep their prices so high. I would like to see them in the five to seven dollar range, but if you consider that 10 pair in rotation should last the ordinary guy at least 10 years, you are getting a bargain.Later, after buying a two pack for about eight bucks a pair, I was able to find a two pack for a bit over ten dollars shipped.This was much more reasonable, however you will have to go out on a limb and pay a bit more for a two pack to test their quality before buying in quantity.These are not your kid's socks, and will serve those well who make a living on their feet, whether in uniform shoes, (police, fire, mail, etc.) or steel toed boots.

These socks are fabulous and I'm so glad we found them!! My husband is a HVAC mechanic, in Florida, and wears them year round in steel toe boots. In the past he always had trouble with his big toes rubbing holes in his socks. It seems as if he went through them monthly. Since finding this amazing brand his socks now last an entire year! Heck, they'd last longer but as tradition I buy him new socks for Christmas. These socks also keep his sweaty feet dry. They don't sag after long hours. They stay in place. They are sewn together to make a very good quality sock. You won't go wrong purchasing these socks for your husband or anyone who has a heck of a time with socks. These will out last that dang big toe nail.

I wear these at work daily with my steel toe Thorogoods and they’re holding up well. I have plantar fasciitis and the combination of Thorogoods, inserts from my podiatrist, and these socks, help me get through the day without any discomfort. I’ve tried several socks and these are the best I’ve found. They don’t ride down into your boot and they have enough cushion without being too thick. I have about 10 pairs of socks for work that I no longer wear after trying these. I have had these for 2 months now and I don't think that I can wear any other brand of socks. I work at a chemical plant, in the heat and these have held up very well so far.They are thick and I have to loosen my steel toe boots just a bit. But I don't get any uncomfortable rubbing on my toes or back of my feet due to their thickness. My feet are also sweaty at the end of the day but my cheap boots have lost their waterproof coating so I don't really blame the sock right now.All I all I am very satisfied with these and do recommend and will purchase a third set.

I mean these are the comfiest big socks I’ve ever worn! lol ok so they are majorly cushioned and they feel and fit great in my steel toes - I believe in buying steel toes In a half size bigger than I normally wear so the thickness and the cushion fit nicely in the extra space - they keep my feet dry all day so I’m not all itchy or sweaty or stinky -it’s great the extra cushion In these makes standing bearable I am at a standing desk 8 hours a day or more - they have a good fit without being too tight and I am very happy they don’t cut into my legs or ankles I mean all around they fit greatWith the exception that I really needed shorter socks 🧦 and although these day crew they are still quite long - great for a regular boot but my steel toes are more like moccasins and shorter so these are way too long - so I have to wear my pants all the way down - and my signature look it’s cuffed jeans - that show ankle - and I can’t do that until you guys make some actual shorter socksBut besides that these socks are really great

I work in a production plant where we are required to wear steel toed shoes or boots, along with metatarsal guards. Wearing these socks, you do not notice the extra heaviness in the toe, heel, or shoe itself. Protects from hot spots and blisters. As an Occupational Health Care nurse, I recommend these to all our new employees during orientation and to anyone who comes in the clinic with complaints of sore feet. Needs to be combined with daily foot care when you are on your feet all day.

After purchase of a new pair of steel toe boots, I did some research on best boot socks for steel toe shoes. These consistently were in the top no matter which article or site I read. After my first day wearing a pair I went and ordered 3 more pairs to have enough for the work week. I can not speak to the durability as I've only had them a few weeks now. My toes have never ever been this happy after a day in heavy leather steel toe work boots.Get yourself these socks, you will not regret it!

Hasta ahora son los mejores calcetines que he usado con botas de trabajo, pesadas y con punta de acero; regularmente excedo las 12 horas de jornada laboral diaria (plataforma marina) y estos calcetines son gruesos pero extremadamente cómodos y hace que tu pie respire con normalidad. Me decidí a comprar estos porque leí una reseña hecha por un cartero el cuál caminaba diariamente mas de 11 km con estos y nunca habían presentado ningún problema tanto a el como al producto.

These socks are excellent, thick and comfortable, I have waited to send a review so I could give them a good test at work. I work outside quite abit and inside that is kept cold year round, most other socks don't last to long for me in steel toed boots, these socks have been the best I have had by far. Highly recommended.

I bought these for my husband and son. They really like them and want me to order more. They fit well and are not tight around the calf.

Way to big for me, if your a womens size 10 or bigger these socks will work for you. I gave them to my son, he is a size 11 mens, he likes them.

for the price, I was expecting a better product. My feet were wet the whole time I used them, I thought they were my work boots and tried them with my sneakers, the result was the same. I lost my money.
