I feel that my phone is pretty well protected without having the major bulk of an Otterbox or other similar type of case. I have been wanting a gold iPhone since the iPhone 6 was released but had to wait until very recently to go from an iPhone 5C (white) to the gold. When I saw the rose gold phones I almost changed my mind, but decided to go with a rose gold case instead. I'm so happy I did. This case shows off the beautiful gold color of my phone and the pink complements it nicely. As far as appearances go I'm very pleased with this case! It's slim, and minimalistic with very clean lines and all of the openings are lined up perfectly. If it would bother you, there is a tiny dotted texture on the inside of the clear portion of the case, which is most visible over the Apple logo on the back (see photos - sorry they are glow-y - taken with an old iphone with poor camera).While I wouldn't *intentionally* drop my phone, I have put this case to the test a couple of times now and it's holding up nicely, and more importantly my phone is still perfect. I will say, one thing I wish for on this case would be for the plastic on the bumper to be solid pink instead of finished in the pink. Once my phone fell out of my purse as I was getting out of the car and the pavement dented and scratched the bumper a tad which revealed white plastic underneath. But that's a very minor complaint. I also got a few scratches to the soft, clear part of the case, but again it's no big deal. So much better than having it on my phone.While this reflects more on the screen protector I used, using both a case and a tempered glass screen protector works just fine (I am using a Spigen screen protector as well).My one and only complaint is that the cutouts on the bottom irritate the inside of my pinky finger a hair. When I am holding my phone with one hand I rest the bottom on my pinky finger so I can navegate the screen with my thumb. If I do this for too long the tender part of my finger does get a big irritated by the edges. They are not super sharp, but I feel they could be a bit softer so as to avoid this irritation.All in all, I would definitely buy this case again and recommend it to friends. Only caveat: clear plastic yellows over time. *by T***Y on Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2015* After 7 months of using this case, I am updating my review to emphasize that this case truly deserves 5 stars, but with one minor caveat - explained below. I've just purchased the same case again and installed it on my phone. The reason I replaced it is because I've dropped my phone so many times (on hard concrete, down the stairs, etc.) that the edges were too banged up and a small piece had broken off on the left bottom corner. I was extremely pleased to see that when I took the old case off, my phone was in perfect condition.The one caveat is that the clear plastic acquired a yellowish hue and I hadn't even realized it until now. However, I looked at other cases with clear backs and the negative reviews were worse than this. Other cases have issues with discoloration of the rose colored hard edge, etc. So aside from the yellowing issue, the case held up to my highest standards, which is why I purchased it again. This case holds up to so much abuse. I clean my iphone with a sanitizing wipe every single night and hard edge never discolored because of it. And given how insanely much I've dropped my phone, I was really happy that the case remained 95% intact and, more importantly, truly protected my iPhone.I've attached photographs to show the damage this case stood up to for 7 months. I've also attached a photo showing the yellowish hue of the old case in comparison with the new one._________This case is the best case I've owned, and I don't buy cheap because I drop my phone so much you would think I am paid to test cell phone endurance.In the few weeks I have had this case, I've flung it down the stairs, dropped it on concrete multiple times, and had it slip and fall generally all around me. Feminine, sleek, and classy. Also it's grippy so I don't feel like the phone would slip out of my hand easily. And it's clear (with the tiniest white dots design, but you won't notice until you look super closely) so you can show off your phones natural design and color.UNFORTUNATELYThis only lasts for like 5-6 months before the yellowing becomes reaaaally obvious. You won't notice it until you look at the camera cutout and see your actual phones color comapared to the case. Then if you take the case off and put it on white paper, you'll notice it's really bad. In my photo I just put it on some white printer paper and you def see how yellow it's gotten. When I first got it, it was completely clear. *sigh* I don't like having to buy new cases every couple months. But this is such a beautiful case. Idk if I'd buy it again. Well I mean maybe I would but it'd be a hassle to have to rebuy every time the coloring gets really obvious. Welp, that's what you get for wanting a clear phone case. I once dropped it from standing height onto asphalt and the case took some damage but my phone screen was pristine. Well I do have a glass screen protector on it, but even the protector didn't break.
