Love this butter dish. Large enough to fit a 1/2lb stick of butter, or just my usual 1/4lb stick. Looks great. Easy to clean. And the wood base is great so I don’t have to worry about any breaking or chipping which has been a problem with past butter dishes.

I love this butterdish- it works both ways with the tray on the bottom to cut butter or with it on top to scoop some out! And it fits 2 sticks side to side which is so nice (and we like to get kerrygold butter which comes in a wide brick). And it looks so cute and new on my old 70s counter 🤣

Most other butter dishes on here were pretty expensive, so I was a little skeptical of this one. I’m happy I went with this one and I actually like it a lot better. Love the versatile design and color

I’m definitely happy with my butter dish, it’s wide enough for my whole block of butter, very easy to clean, and it seems sturdy enough.

I have received so many compliments on my cute butter dish. I love it! It holds two normal size sticks of butter side by side. It came with a coupon to receive a free butter knife. That has never came, even after following all the directions on the card that came with my butter dish. From what I have noticed on their Facebook page, they do a poor job following up on that promise. I am giving 5 stars because the dish is great. I won't deduct for the knife because I never even knew they offered a free item when I ordered originally so I wasn't expecting more until the package came. The company should consider not putting the card in their packaging. It seems to have angered many people online.

The lid fits nicely but not tight — easy to remove, and it seems sufficiently fitted to protect the butter. And the little handle is very convenient. I’ll be hand washing it and careful not to soak the wood — I haven’t checked to see if it’s dishwasher-safe but wouldn’t risk it anyway. And I’m excited to be able to try the European style butter that didn’t fit in my old dish. Another great product from Sweese.

The item was shipped with the most care and the company even has a replacement guarantee outside of Amazon’s coverage.The ceramic top is a bit heavy, but you can associate that with quality and the beautiful black glaze sheens so well. It tends to attract (buttery) fingerprints, but is so easy to clean with a quick wipe. The wood is beautiful to look at and to touch. I feel very comfortably fancy leaving the butter in this contraption as I do not anticipate any mold or other issues as I had with simple glass Tupperware with the silicone rings before.

We are a big family Having enough butter that can be spread for breakfast is vital for our happiness. I loved my old butter dish, but ONE stick? Really? We needed more butter, now. This butter dish from Sweese holds four sticks of butter. That is enough for two family pancake breakfasts and a round of grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. The porcelain is not too thin but not too bulky to make it heavy. Great for a mom who is always working with one hand. It can be used with a single stick placed on the cutting board styled lid or as we use it, stuffed with four soft sticks of butter with the wooden lib to keep your butter fresh. Easy to wash and get right back to work again.

We are very pleased with our Sweese butter dish. The product came very nicely packaged. The dish and board are made with good materials and the colour is lovely. The only small complaint is that the butter dish isn't deep enough to take a whole block of butter when it is very cold. We just let the butter warm up a little then cut it up before putting it in the dish.

Good build quality. Unfortunately it does not fit a full block of butter.

Porcelain part isn’t level and therefore it wobbles on the wooden base. The butter will clearly go off quicker as a result.

I love the look of this butter dish but I’d you’re looking for something that holds a Canadian 1lb stick of butter, this dish isn’t for you. The lid doesn’t have a rubber seal either but I don’t mind that. All in all it works for me and I love the look of it.
