Star Wars Dollar Origami (Origami Books)

Updated - 01-22-20 I am posting my first attempt at the Tie Fighter. I had made so many mistakes along the way (I am learning Origami at the same time I am doing these models) that the integrity of the dollar bill I was using was really compromised. I just called this attempt done and thought I would post it. I will have to say that the practice bills they sent do not seem good for doing these models. The paper easily tears especially with the folding and unfolding that is required with these advanced models. I still give this 5 stars because of the artist and the fact that I can practice as much as I want with Mr. Park's great creations! I will continue to post as I finish other models. --- Well, I just turned 50 this year, and I first saw Star Wars at the age of 8 in Austin, TX. That was an amazing moment in my life. My brother was home from the Marine Corps and took me. I'll never forget seeing the Millennium Falcon fly across the screen, and I was hooked. Several years ago, I was looking for papercraft Millennium Falcon models that I had not already built, and I came across images of Won Park's beautiful work. How I wished I could have had the instructions! Two Days ago, I was searching again, and lo and behold - there it was! It arrived yesterday (I know my wife must think I am a nerd - I am), and I had no idea how professionally presented it would be! It is pure excellence! From the beautiful card bard case to the inlet for the practice cash they give you, to the incredible presentation of each model and the fold instructions - I am amazed! Thank you, Won Park, for sharing your genius talent with all of us! I look forward to posting images of my finished folds. If you are an original trilogy fan - don't walk, run and get this! Dan

So, I bought these as gifts for Christmas for 2 different Star Wars fanatics who are also very much into building things. They both loved them. Was kinda hoping they would make me some oragami ones and not expect the cash back, but that hasn't happened yet. Seriously though, the book is amazing. It's fun. Very nice presentation with a velcro closure. Easy to follow, but not exactly easy to do. But, honestly - that's part of the fun of it is the challenge.

I want to love it, but find it very difficult to understand, it would have been nice if they made a website or a video series with it. I'd have even paid extra for that. great packing though, but its not for kids or 30yo beginners as it currently stands XD

Got this for my dad and he loved it! Comes with practice bills too

The genius to come up with these models is amazing. I figured out how to fold the Yoda and Tie Fighter models.

Awesome book!

This is a good book but is for an experienced person. But if you have a lot of patience you will get good with the help of this book.

Box damaged and the most important part was not there. Not very impressed.
