Effective on Chickweeds and Clovers
I have used this ready to use product on Chickweed and Clover, and it works well. I use it with a non-ionic surfactant to make sure that it sticks to the weeds' leafy area. It is not intended for crabgrass, and is ineffective with hearty crabgrass, but it does work well on dandelions. I am going to keep my empty ready-to-use 1 gallon container and try the concentrated mix next time as a refill. Try to use this when you know it's not going to rain for a couple days to increase its effectiveness. Also seems to work well on any broadleaf weed, like dandelion and others. It will kill dandelions with one spray treatment and it won't come back. Clovers will brown within 3 days, and fade thereafter. Apply when the weather will be good for plant (weed) growth over the following couple of days because the chemical is absorbed through the leafs during plant growth - so try to avoid very, very hot or too cold of temperatures following application. Apply when winds are calm so you don't breath it too much and so that the product doesn't drift onto desirable ornamental plants that it could damage. When you follow the instructions on the bottle, don't get overly concerned about how much water you mix it with. The most important thing is how much product you apply per square feet of lawn. Water is only the vehicle, as the experts say. The amount of water is not important, it is only there to help you spread it evenly and to help apply the product the correct amount per area of lawn. The analogy that I like to use is that when you take medicine, you are not concerned about how many ounces of water you took a pill with, you are only concerned about how much medicine is in the pill. It is inconsequential how much water you drink it with as long as the correct number of mg are used. So to apply this product, measure your lawn area, then make sure you apply the correct volume of product spread evenly over that area of lawn without worring too much about how much water you mix it with. This product is probably very similar to Ortho's Weed B Gone (by Scott's), but this Bonide product is clear in color and nearly odorless. In my opinion, the Weed B Gone seemed a little bit more "chemically" in its dark brown color and strong odor. The active ingredients here for this Bonide Chickweed, Clover & Oxalis Killer are: Triclopyr 1.12% + MCPA 11.2% + Dicamba 1.12% (These values are from manufacturer's website) Whereas for Weed B Gone it is: Triclopyr 1.56% + MCPA 13.72% + Dicamba 1.35% (so very similar active ingredients). (These values are from Amazon description) The ready-to-use gallon size container doesn't have to be dilluted with water, and is really for spot treatment. The real value for larger areas will be the 1-pint concentrate, which is applied at 3.2 oz per 1000 sq ft of lawn; so the 1-pint size covers 5,000 sq ft (16oz / 3.2oz / 1000sqft). The pint size costs something like $12 with shipping; so it is about $2.4 to cover each 1000 sq ft. Ortho's Weed B Gone pint size concentrate, by contrast, covers 3,200 sq ft (according to Amazon product page) for about $17; or about $5.30 to cover each 1000 sq ft. - about twice the price of this product. You can apply larger areas with a pump style tank sprayer or hose-end sprayer (I have about 1-acre). Overall; I'd say it's a very good product that's comparable to Weed B Gone but a much better value.

No more Clover!
This stuff works great, especially when you consider how hard clover is to get rid of. I’m fine with some clover in my grass, but my lawn was overtaken by white clover to the point where it practically looked like it had just snowed outside. I over-concentrated this product, adding a little less than a capful to a gallon of water in a pump sprayer. I didn’t add a surfactant but some people do recommend doing so, since clover has waxy leaves making it difficult for weed killer to stick to it. I applied it generously and I didn’t water the grass for a couple of days, even though the label may you can water a few hours after application. This product got rid of approximately 80–90% of the clover in my lawn on the first application, and it killed other random weeds as well. It does take a several days for it to work, so don’t be disheartened when you don’t see the clover dying off right away. Then reapply a couple of weeks later if needed. And, most importantly, if you have pets, keep them off the grass until a heavy rain thoroughly washes it away.

Works, but slowly
Works, but slowly on oxalis. I used a surficant with this stuff in a 1-gallon tank sprayer. The oxalis leaves started looking burned after a few days and I applied second and third applications two weeks apart. It turned the grass brown but didn't kill it. About 90% of the oxalis is gone now but a bit is still there after two months. It's October now and I'll spray again.

It worked!
Killed the clover and not the grass. typically I don't expect these things to work but it did!

Strong but be careful. May kill your grass
It did kill the clover but also my grass around where I sprayed. I did a spit treatment of clover. I wouldn’t use again but it does kill the clover.

Killed my grass
Destroyed my Bermuda grass. Applied this, as directed, earlier in the spring. It seemed to work decently well. Didn’t totally kill off the weeds but stunted the growth enough. Did another treatment right around start of summer. It was hotter and dryer in general, but again following directions, completely watered my lawn, mixed the proper ratio, then applied. After working all spring on getting the lawn looking nice, it completely killed everywhere I spot treated. I now have a leopard lawn and it will take months to recover from this. It killed the grass, but again only stunted the weed growth. Might as well have just sprayed Roundup on my lawn.

Started working immediately
I bought this because my lawn had started getting so much clover in it and it was taking over. I mixed this up, added a surfactant to help it cling to the clover, and sprayed it on all the clover in late afternoon. By the next morning, I noticed the clover was wilted and curling up. Two days later, clover is brown and dried up. Same with the plantain that I had sprouting up in a few spots. I am amazed at how quickly and well this worked. I also have some creeping Charlie in a few spots, and I sprayed that as well. No change in it yet but that stuff is hard to kill anyway, so may need a second application. Even though the package doesn't explicitly say so, I highly recommend adding a surfactant to the mix to help it cling to the leaves... makes it so much more effective. Overall, this is a good product that does what it says. I would buy again.

My clover is gone! Sucked back into the ground like it never existed in just 24 hours!
Amazing - I can't even find my clover after 24 hours! Leaves, stems, flowers, seedpods just vanished like they never existed! Even my dandelions are dying, and none of the big 3 brands did much of anything for weeds. It's a miracle!!! Ridiculous directions - my first calculation was wrong (1/3 of correct dose) so I re-calculated after visiting the Bonide website - poured 1.5 oz into a 30 oz hand spray bottle, filled with water, and re-sprayed. By the next morning my lawn looked like grass instead of clover and dandelions!!! Didn't harm my grass!
