It's funny how the really simple things in life can make me so happy. This decorated cloth, made to look like an ornate rug, has a heavy rubber underside that grips to your desk surface quite well staying in place without issue. The topside surface that your mouse is on is the best mouse pad surface I've used. This may sound trivial, but it honestly makes your day just a little more pleasant when you're not fighting with your pointing device eight hours a day.It's inexpensive, attractive, practical, and the perfect gift. I had this on my wish list for quite a while but I finally broke down and just bought it for myself. Excellent product!

An Optical mouse or roller ball mouse works with this Pad. I use a Microsoft cordless laser mouse and a mini laser Hp mouse. They hate this pad. I don't know why.The rug spent a year in a drawer. I needed it for my new Asus. The mouse was jittery, hard to control, etc.After messing around with settings, changing batteries and switching channels, I threw the rug pad at my housemate. Shutting down the evil computer, I noticed the mouse worked fine on the bare table. The problem wasn't batteries, settings or interference; the problem was this pad.

As if mousing on Freud's carpet wasn't enough...Mouserugs are absolutely the bomb! Completely non-skid, heavy duty backing. You can feel the weight holding it in your hand. The surface truely is a (persian style) rug for your mouse. GREAT surface for your mouse's rollerball--cleans versus adding lint, grease, etc. I wish I had discovered these years ago. I added a red Fellows gel wrist pad to the ensemble (also here on Amazon). I am now the envy of my office. I can't wait to get one for home, but which pattern to choose?

This is a great mouse pad. The detail of the rug is excellent, much better than a previous mouserug that I had. It has all the comfortable features, non-skid, smooth top for easy mouse management. I wouldn't be without one of these desk accessories!

This is a great gift for any friend who is a counselor, clinical psychologist, or psychiatrist. I bought one for a neighbor who was opening a new office and I received mine as a gift from my supervisor. It's an inexpensive gift, but of good quality, with a little impish humor.

I get lots of compliments on my mouse rug. Works great; no complaints.

Mouse Pad, Lextra Freud Mouse Rug / B0000AHEODI bought this mouse rug at a novelty shop back when I was a psychology major in school - it's supposed to be a duplicate of the oriental rug that was draped over Freud's iconic patient couch, and whatever you think about the man's theories, you have to admit that he had good decorating tastes.I've had this mouse pad for almost a decade now, and it's been used daily through several mice. It's been scrapped clean of cat hair (multiple times), been 'sweated' on when it's doubled as a coaster because I couldn't be bothered to pause my computer game to go find a real one, and has lived through several moves and changes of residences - and it's still going strong. The only sign of age or wear is that the coloring is ever-so-slightly faded and less bright than it was when I purchased it a decade ago. Even after all these years, all the fringe is still perfectly attached, and there isn't a single mark or tear to be seen.This mouse pad is made of a very good, strong cloth top, with a solid, gripping rubber bottom to prevent slidding. It's so nice that my fiance is actually planning to buy a new one for his own computer - because I won't give up mine!
