Reel OK, Rod is terrible
Not ordering this again. 4 piece rod is ok. The largest eyelet looked slightly bent.. It takes ALOT of elbow grease to join every single end. Got it just today and I may never get the ends to meet flush after trying to set one in. Love the reel, rod comes with a pouch to put the pieces in but its unnecessary, you'll never be able to pull the pieces apart ever again. Don't use a rubber mallet to try and jam pieces together. I'm disappointed, I was looking forward to this product. Rod is going onto my rack, I'll pair the reel with something else.Addition: the rod is splintered. Its trash now. I likely won't ask for a refund since my last resort was a rubber mallet to get the base piece to be flush with handle and maybe that broke it.

Great for catching Bluegill & Perch. Tip broke of on a 15” Catfish
Rod and reel worked well for pond fishing but tip broke when I tried to get a catfish into the boat. My have been my technic but I’m not sure.

The top section just snapped. Been using this rod 2-3 X p/week over the last 2 months and its just not durable.Good value for the cost, but don't expect too much.
