These are extremely strong. Taking them apart can be a challenge. From reading other reviews I wouldn't let them slam together. These will more than meet my needs.

2 of these magnets are perfect for mounting Harbor Freight led lights to the ceiling of shipping containers!!I put 5 stars for easy to remove but it's the opposite and that's what I need!

I had 100lb magnets that are least 3x as strong as these. No way in hell would these hold 110lbs maybe 10-20lbs.

Very strong--exceeds my expectations. I think the negative reviews are from different variations of this product sold by the same company. I used the magnets (6 total) to hold a triple canister dispenser on the refrigerator. I filled one container with rice, cereal, and straws. The dispenser has not moved a millimeter, in fact, I have a hard time moving the placement of the dispenser because the magnets are so strong. I have no issues with the magnets sliding down at all. The total weight of the dispenser and its content is approximately 10 pounds.

This is a repeat purchase for me. The magnets are very strong. I'm using one to hold a swing gate, and after 6 months in the rain the chromed steel outer case still hasn't rusted. Need to be careful not to over-tighten the screw, otherwise the magnet can crack as this model is relatively thin in profile
