I do not think it would be practical with a roller, I have always used a brush for best results.

Can I use it for outdoor wood chairs and a pressured treated picnic table?

Should be fine. I used it on treated fence posts and it seems fine......time will tell!

Used on garden bench and does look good. I bought this product because I was impressed by the 10 year guarantee claim so you probably need to ask me again in 10 years time if it did live up to that claim.
