The media could not be loaded.  The two smaller circular compartments are perfect for holding about 5 sharpie-sized items comfortably. Pens are easily clipped onto the outside if you run out of room. The large compartment comfortably fits long scissors, letter openers, remote controls, etc. The spinning is really helpful. No more blindly digging around or picking the entire organizer up to find what you want. The design is nice too. Very impressed with this product for the price.One note that may be a con for some people: There is a small (about an inch) Rolodex silver label at the top middle of the main compartment (you can see in product pictures if you look closely). I don't mind it at all, in fact, after making such a good product they deserve to leave an advertisement on it.UPDATE: I've not been using the daily for almost two years. The mesh design seems to trap much less dust than other organizers I've used. It's super easy to clean. It still spins like day 1. It takes up minimal space but you have access to lots of items as you're able to spin to each compartment. I really appreciate that it's one solid piece so cleaning it easy, and it's impossible to lose any parts. This is a really quality purchase at the price. If anything, I'd add stars to my original 5 star review.

I have two mesh pencil/pen cups, one for pens and the other for highlighters, etc. I use this large one for larger markers, scissors, nail file, cue tips, paper clips, etc. It's pretty tall, very sturdy, has a large round middle section, with 2 smaller round sections on the sides to accommodate tall things. There are 4 more shallow sections (1 up high, 3 down low) that accommodate all sorts of things. They are about 1" deep one of them on the bottom is half the width of the bottom. It spins easily, is heavy enough not to tilt or turn over easily. It will last for many, many years and is a necessity if you keep lots of different kinds of items at your desk.

I was looking for a good desk organizer to sort all of my pens and other office supplies when I came across this Rolodex Spinning Desk Sorter. I am glad to say, so far it is working wonderfully. The organizer spins pretty smoothly and produces almost no noise at all. The entire thing is made of metal which makes it feel really durable. In the pictures, it looks like there are five compartments for holding pens and pencils, however, there are only three compartments deep enough to hold a pen, one in the center and two on either side of it. There are also two shallow compartments on top which can be used for many different things such as paper clips, binder clips, or erasers. Since I bought this in the winter, I use one of the shallow compartments for holding cough drops and it works wonderfully. On the bottom, there are three large shallow compartments which can be used for small office supplies. My only minor complaint - and this is a really small complaint - is that the Rolodex logo near the top of the organizer is slanted. Again, very small complaint but it is still there. Other than that, this is a quality desk organizer which I would strongly recommend. Definitely one of my best impulse Amazon buys. It holds all my scissors, rotary cutters, pins, and various sewing implements that I need close at hand. Spins easily.

Compact, yet large enough to hold quite a few of my desk 'supplies'. I particularly like that it swivels around, like a 'lazysusan'. The rotation is smooth and easy. It is about 6 1/2-inches high and 6 1/2-inches in diameter at its widest and tallest points. There is a 3-inch diameter opening in the center and two 1 3/4-inch diameter by 5-inches high cylinder slots attached to it. These have two 4-inch long by 1 1/4-inch wide and 1- inch deep 'pockets' connecting them at the top. There are also three 'pocket' areas around the bottom, each in the range of 4-inches by 1 1/2-inches wide by 1 1/4-inches deep. These measurements are close, but approximations becaause many are diagonal and curved. I keep a scissors, letter opener, highlighter marker, red pen, felt tip Sharpie and vertical staple remover in the center; six pens in one cylinder; five pencils in another cylinder; five medium binder clips in one bottom pocket and 20 assorted mini and small binder clips in another bottom pocket; and a small calculator [3.5x2.5x.25] and a [2.5x1x.5] Pentel HiPolymer Eraser in the third pocket. My two upper pockets contain large paper clips and regular size paperclips - quite a few of them! It arrives completed assembled, ready to fill and set on your desk.

I've never had this pencil desk organizer before in my life, cause it's let's me use on my desk when I really need to have more storage on my desk.

Now my pens and highlighters are separated plus my scissors and miscellaneous things are now organized plus the price was great!

Really excellent! I was sceptical about it but it's sturdy, well-made and I love that it spins. Great for small work spaces.

Muy práctico y parece que durará mucho. Rota sobre su base fácilmente. Yo lo ocupo para marcadores, y está muy alto, tuve que poner una base en el contenedor central para levantarlos como se ve en la imagen.

I use this to sore my make-up brushes and some lipgloss. As it spins it is easy to access all the products in it.
