Absolutely lovely.
Jo Thomas never lets her readers down. This was a wonderful story, with descriptions of characters, scenery & food. The Flamenco story was very interesting too. Jo manages to write a really good story without the use of graphic sex or foul language, which just goes to show how unnecessary those are to enhance the story. I’ve read all Jo’s books, even corresponded with her, and wish her all the best and many more years of success.

I live in Andalusia and wanted to learn about Flamenco and it's history. This book carriers with itand portrayed so well the Spanish people and their personalities. The characters showedso many believable traits and highlighted the different aspects of attitudes between Spanish people and other nationalities .History, humour ,horses and romance the perfect. blend. A book I could read again.Keep on the bookshelf☺🔰

Awesome 🍒
One thing I always look forward to each year is the arrival of my new Jo Thomas novel, and it's always More than worth the wait and delivers on all my expectations without fail, which is why she has become one of my all time favourites, quite Simply her books are special! This delicious treat is set in Spain and centers around Beti who with life long dreams of opening up a bar abroad decides that life is too short and sets off to sunny Spain with fiancé Will to do just that with the help of her nan's inheritance, however things don't go according to plan and Beti finds herself alone and penniless, refusing to give up hope she gets work at a cherry farm in hope of saving a deposit for a bar of her own. What she finds however is her true self, the harvest season is upon them and Antonio her boss needs help with the cherry trees so Beti throws herself straight into it, whilst also planning a 30th birthday party for her not so favourite cousin, oh and that's the other thing Beti's family have no idea what's happened and thinks she owns the place!! How will it end? Will Beti find love among the cherry blossoms? I'll let you find that out.....So now let's get onto what I thought of the book and that's simple I loved it, from the first page until the last page! Jo Thomas has a talent for really transporting you to these beautiful destinations she writes about so much so that it makes you want to pack a suitcase and go there yourself and it wasn't long before I was googling holidays to Spain. The characters are all so loveable and relatable and Antonio well I couldn't help falling in love with him!! Beti is such a caring loveable character aswell, I was routing for her from the start! I can't really see anybody being disapointed in this book to be honest I think it has everything you could possibly need including dance ( who knew flamenco was so passionate) it was kind of like a Spanish dirty dancing thing going on and I loved it!!! I can't recommend this book enough and I'm extremely thankful I don't have to wait a year for the next book as she has one out later in the year and it's already pre ordered , trust me if you haven't read a Jo Thomas book your missing out!! 😊🍒🍒🍒

Most enjoyable
One of my favourite authors. She is a great story teller, and you can just imagine the scene the characters are in, with her colourful details. Highly recommend.
