It's design is very good looking, sleek and contemporary. The silicone covering on it's very flexible positioning arm is a pleasure to touch and use. I wondered if I was going to like a clamp fixture, but it's wonderful. It clamped over the 1 1/4" metal edge of my table, and securely to it's tempered glass. The clamp is padded with rubber and the whole fixture is very stable, space saving and handsome. The light. It gives me any density of light I need, from dim to very bright, and in shades of eye-saving amber to bright white. I'm still getting used to the sliding touch control ( for me, with my lamp to the left, the touch control is on it's back bar). But I think with practice it will be less awkward. The lamp bar can be brought down closer to what you're working on, or pushed higher. The light bar itself can be tilted away a bit, so the light is never directly in your eyes. Here is the light I've been looking for. Practically perfect !
